First, you need to see this facility. They did a major renovation and it looks so different. It has been modernized and looks amazing. My Mom has been at Brandywine for a few years. It is a tough decision to make when your loved one needs more care than what you can give. The apartments are roomy. The food is wonderful. There are so many activities that one will never get bored. My Mom is now on the Reflections-Memory Care Unit. The care and support that she receives is amazing. She is well cared for. The staff is so genuine and supportive to my Mom and family. Administration takes the time to talk with you and answer your questions. It is like an extended family. I am so happy with making the decision to move my Mom to Brandywine.
When it comes to the activities, our loved one does not participate in any, but I think he would if the staff members made some kind of an announcement. They also have a family practitioner, dentist, and podiatrist that do visits on site. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend St. Mary Villa to other families.
Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line is a very spread out facility for independent living, but the section for assisted living is more condensed and tight knit. For independent living they offer a studio apartment, one bedroom or two bedroom apartment. They have tons of activities provided for residents to participate in. There is a huge indoor pool clubs, bistro bar etc. Tons to do. I would recommend Wesley Enhanced Living Main Line to others looking. It feels more home like and has beautiful surroundings.

Independent living offers a stress-free lifestyle for older adults. Independent living communities don’t provide personal care or supervision, but do offer generally healthy adults opportunities for socialization and hassle-free living. Independent living services often include:
An Independent Living Community provides residents the choice to live active lives while guaranteeing their essential needs are met. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are taken care of, which provides residents more free time to live their lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent medical providers, they always have the option. There are a variety of costs and benefits to balance when deciding on an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are covered in your service plan: meals, field trips, initial assessment fee, utilities, transportation, private phone, parking, and cable TV. The amenities that pertain to independent living include concierge services, security guards, restaurant-style dining hall, golf course, beauty salon & barber shop, healthcare center, transportation, and fitness center & swimming pool.
