The size of this facility is manageable. My aunt really enjoys the beauty shop they have on site. My aunt does not participate in activities. I have witnessed bingo and a very sweet singing in the chapel. I have been able to resolve any issue I may have with a call or text . They have a very nice maintenance person that has gone out of his way to help us also. It just has a hometown flair to it.
Shelby Gardens might not be the newest, fanciest assisted living facility, but it does have the best staff. In fact, they just won a bunch of awards! The staff really care for my mom and look out for her best interests - and she’s not always the easiest to get along with. Shelby Gardens has transformed my life and my mom’s.
I was happy with the care that my husband received here at this community. It is very clean and taken care of. The staff was very attentive and friendly. He was pleased with the variety of meals. They did offer activities for him to participate. I would highly recommend the care and value here to other families.
