Well, it’s not what I really wanted, but it does serve the purpose. The staff and management is great. The repair guys are excellent. The people here are very friendly and loving and haven’t had no problems out in the parking lot or we have gates on the thing open up and it’s a great place you know I give a thumbs up.

I love it here. It is more than perfect for me. They don't provide meals, but all else is superb. The staff is all friendly. It's just great here.

They get a 5 for all categories. The staff at Elevation at Autumn Ridge has been good to me and my mom. In addition to the staff being attentive, I've met some of the residents who have welcomed us with open arms and who have helped and guided my mom during her stay. The resident community is strong and they look out for one another.

For the most part, it is a good place for seniors to retire at and maintain their independent living status. The residents have a community of other seniors to look out of one another.

The Elevation is a good place, our first impression right away was how nice it was, the quite atmosphere and it is affordable. The value for cost is excellent. We really like how they have different areas for meditation.

The residents are wonderful, but the people who run the place are lacking. The office staff are not very responsive. Most of the time you can't even get a person, you just get the machine. And it's a crap shoot if they call you back or not. They are very slow to repair things. They messed up her receipt a couple of time. The people in the office are just not very together. And there's nobody there on weekends which I don't like either. If you have an emergency, you call the maintenance man. And he may or may not call you back. I have contacted their corporate office 2-3 times about a leak in her ceiling. They spent a whole lot of money redecorating, and it all looks very nice. The apartment are nice except when things come into disrepair, and then they're slow to get somebody there and only halfway fix things. It's not a bad place. I'm just very frustrated with their lack of communication.

The atmosphere is good and the neighbors are very nice. they have lots of amenities like a weight room, and a workout room and they have activities for the residents to participate in also. I would recommend this community to others.

We like how the friendly the staff members are and the other residents who live there. Our loved one is an amputee and it has worked out well for her. They are remodeling the place and she is scheduled to get a handicapped apartment on the first floor.

Stay on the staff about checking on the residence, we had an issue where my dad fell and they respond in a timely manner. The rooms are very nice, and the food was delicious and had a good variety. I have already recommended this facility to others.

The new management took over June 1st. I like that is was gated and only two stories. The staff was inconsistent. The food was edible. The layout of the rooms was okay. There were no outside space for them to sit. There was no security when walking dogs or being outside. There is no transportation service.

Facility was very clean. They were not expecting us even tho we had an appt. The front desk person showed us around and was very helpful. We are looking for a wheelchair accessible apartment for our Mother. We found some floor plans we liked and will be back to get more information during the week. Lunch was great & a lot of interaction with Happy Residents. Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable.

There are no activities for the Assisted living side. They treat that side like bad step children. They are not offered the same food as the IL SIDE. The residents pay so much money to live there but yet they have to come to the nurses station to ask for toilet tissue and after two rolls a week they have to pay for it. It’s so sad in that place. Management can’t get anything together. I would NEVER send someone there.

The place seemed dark. The place needs some updating and renovation especially on the memory care side.

The neighbourhood is not as bad as it seems. I feel safe within the complex, it is a gated area. If you still drive and come in after sunset the parking lot is dark and can be a little scary, more lighting is needed. Also some of the fencing needs replacing for safety. For the most part, the place is well maintained with plenty of activities. The dining room food is not so good but each apartment has its own kitchen if you can prepare your own meals. There is usually someone around if you need help in the common areas. Each unit has separate heating and cooling. There are laundry rooms at the end of each hall; some apartments have washers and dryers. The smoke alarm sounds occasionally because someone is smoking in their apartment. There is no way to know if it's a false alarm or if we should evacuate. A PA system is really needed in the building for safety. Overall it is a good place to live. The monthly fee is fair considering it includes rent, utilities, meals, cable, laundry facilities, activities, and transportation for shopping and doctors appointments. It's truly independent living, you're free to come and go as you wish for as long as you're able to do so. If you need someone, someone is there for you.

I was referred to Kennington Point in Memphis by Caring.com. I called this facility on [date removed] to ask them some questions before scheduling a tour. Someone answered the phone who said she "was in a resident's room" and could not transfer my call to the correct person. She said someone named [name removed] or [name removed] would call me back. When [name removed] called me back, he said [name removed], the Clinical Director, would need to come to our home on Wed. [date removed] at 9 AM to assess my husband. On [date removed], no one showed up. I called [name removed] at Kennington Point at 10:20 AM and told him that [name removed] had not shown up. He said he would call me back after he had spoken to her. He never called me back. Based on their lack of customer service, communication and commitment, I can only imagine how mismanaged a facility this is.

My mother was here for less than 6 months and it does smell musty. I had no problem with this facility until they refused to respond to us regarding her wedding ring going missing. This was of importance to her as this was a memory for her. How dare they sweep it under the rug.

Visited recently, I looked at studio & 1 BR units. Some units have a Juliet balcony, all units have hotel style AC/Heating units in the living room with a fan in the wall to circulate air into the bedroom. Bedrooms have large walking closets, the bath has a step in shower w/rails. The kitchen has a small stove, frig without icemakers. It lacked a microwave or dishwasher. carpeted areas were worn & stained. The building smelled of musty mold. The entire building is dated and needs renovating. It was depressing for me, imagining my loved one or myself living here is unthinkable. I do not recommend this community.
