I have personal peace living in Luther Towers and it because of [Name removed] (only) and I would have sleepless nights if she was not the manager. If I could give this place a zero rating I would. Pictures on the website do not reflect the reality. Took a friend to see if this might be a nice safe place for her. Within seconds found out not safe as she got a resident smoking outside to let her in. To his credit he told her he wasn't supposed to let her in without a card but he did it anyway. The person who was supposed to give us a tour wasn't there but they did find someone to assist. It didn't take long to realize we were in a rundown, bug ridden facility that smelled like bug spray. Public areas had not been painted or new carpet in years. There were Terminix glue traps for bugs or mice outside each apartment door. We never got to see an apartment because the master key broke off in the lock and they had to change the lock to let us in. We were not willing to wait to see what was behind the door! The website shows hardwood floors in renovated units but can't imagine even if the apartment was decent that walking out into the run down public spaces would be a pleasant experience. Don't bother to check this place out...RUN!

This is a very good community. I havent tried it yet, but my mother said she likes the food. In general, we just really like this place. There was nothing in particular that stood out to us, but the staff is all very nice! Everything is going very well so far, and I have no complaints!

The community was not spotless but it was clean. The carpet in the halls could use a little touch-up. There is a laundry onsite, the cost is one dollar and twenty-five cents for each wash and each dry. There is also a small grocery store onsite. There is a beauty salon and nail shop onsite. There is a nice dinning area and it doubles as a place of worship. MIFA comes onsite to deliver lunch meals for a donation Mon - Fri, 11 - 2pm. No fee for this service, but a donation of what the senior can afford is appreciated. The rooms are nice and very agreeable with a single senior member living there. The dinning area is a converted balcony, enclosed completely. They offer transportation for seniors to their destinations. The bath rooms are equipped with the safety wall rails in the tub, and on the wall in front of the toilet.
