Staff is really nice. They look out for my mother. Like if she misses a meal, they check in on her. Oh the appt transportation is a pain. It's only available 2 days a week half day. Have to get approval ahead of time. And the they drive you but do not assist into building. When it's a large medical bldg this is difficult for someone in a wheelchair.
Our experience with this community was good, overall it is kept pretty clean. The care services are pretty reliable, the activities were however a little bit weaker. The food at this community was very good, and we really liked the responsiveness of the staff and the availability the memory care unit had
My mom is doing great at The Residence at Melrose Station! The staff are taking very good care of her. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families! It is not cheap but it is worth the money.

Many seniors may be able to live without assistance, but the financial burden of home ownership and the upkeep of daily tasks and chores might deter them from enjoying an otherwise independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a great alternative. You or your loved one may continue to use their free time as they see fit while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers as desired. There are an assortment of costs and advantages to balance when choosing an independent living community.
