Carriage Crossing Mt. Zion in Jonesboro, GA

The memory care is wonderful. The residents are cared for by a very loving staff. Everyone of the staff members knows what is going on. They keep family informed of any changes or needs. The supplies that you bring for your loved one goes into the closet in their room and are only used for your loved one. The food is very tasty and nutritious. They give top notch care with love. They have activities, meals, and lots of rest. I can not thank the staff enough for taking care of my Mom. She always looked good and was happy and comfortable. Thank you a place for Mom for helping me find Carriage Crossing and Thank you Carriage crossing for the great care and love you gave my Mom.

Everybody was extremely nice and helpful in getting me in touch with the right resources to move my loved one into the place. I thought it was a good facility and I can not think of any improvements that need to be made.

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home might deter them from an independent life. Independent Living Communities provide a great solution. Daily needs such as housekeeping and the scheduling of social activities are taken care of, which permits seniors more free time to live active lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Typically consisting of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are a variety of advantages and expenditures to consider while choosing an independent living community. It is important to determine if these amenities are covered in the care plan: parking, transportation, Waiting list deposit, wellness program, cable TV, initial assessment fee, meals, and housekeeping. The benefits that pertain to independent living include community activities, beauty salon & barber shop, fitness center & swimming pool, game/TV room, transportation, golf course, concierge services, and healthcare center.
