Recent reviews of Independent Living in Alamo, CA
Sycamore Hills By the Bay in Hercules, CA
5.0

The only improvement that I can think of that needs to be made at Sycamore Hills By the Bay is there is not enough parking. That is my only complaint about this facility. Everyone is very nice, the facility is really clean. I am really happy with my experience here so far.

Carlton Senior Living Concord
5.0

The facility is very nice, close to stores, shops, parks & movie theatre. Lots of good restaurants near by. However, food is provided here, sometimes people like to go out to a restaurant. They have a lot of activities to do, a nice variety.

The Watermark at Rosewood Gardens in Livermore, CA
5.0

We chose The Watermark at Rosewood Gardens because it was very close to me--less than a mile and we knew 3 others who had or do have a family member there. the front room of the apartment is spacious in comparison to some.

Learn More About Independent Living in Alamo, CA

A small, upscale suburb east of Oakland, Alamo offers a close-knit community with easy access to conveniences that meet residents’ daily needs, like shopping centers and health care facilities. Alamo fosters and strengthens its local culture with lots of events and festivals, like the Alamo Music and Wine Festival. For outdoor-loving residents, Alamo is within reach of the coast’s sandy beaches, and nearby wilderness areas like Mount Diablo State Park provide countless opportunities to appreciate the Bay Area’s natural landscape and to continue living an active retirement.

Independent living communities — also known simply as retirement communities — in Alamo are geared towards seniors who are able to live on their own, without daily assistance, and prefer to live among people their age. This usually means residents are self-sufficient and do not require hands-on care. Think of Alamo retirement communities as age-restricted (typically 55+) complexes, which provide organized activities, meal services, and transportation.

Cost of Independent Living in Alamo, CA
