Hope of Solace Agency in Raleigh, NC
3.8

If you want a reliable service, even with the owner filling in if needed, Hope of Solace is the agency for you. They require a minimum of 20 hours a week. They provided bathing and light meal prep for us. We varied from 15 hours a day to 4 hours a day over the course of a couple months time. The caregivers where caring, thoughtful people. Billing was automatic and setup auto draft from our account.

Senior Helpers of the Triangle in Durham, NC
5.0

I would like to add [name removed] and [name removed] are very caring and professional. My sisters and I initially used their service for a week in Feb 2023 while we were waiting to place mom at a local memory care facility. In Oct 2033 mom required an adjustment in meds due to behavior related to her dementia. We used Senior Helpers of the triangle again to provide a 1:1 companion for mom at the facility as she adjusted to new meds. [name removed] or [name removed] came with to the facility with every change in caregiver to introduce them to mom. We would not hesitate to call [name removed] again if needed.

Home Care

Assistive home care offers the luxury of numerous services that can be administered in the comfort of your own home. In-home care provides multiple services including short-term nursing care, laundry, and assistance using mobility/assistive devices. This type of care can provide various medical services including aid in self-administration of medication, assisting residents in drinking fluid to swallow medication, and opening container lids. A majority of home care services screen potential patients prior to admittance. This screening might include skin problems, health problems, and weight/nutritional status. Furthermore, care services can comprise rehabilitative services and meal preparation. Intermittent home care may also afford your family member help doing laundry and going grocery shopping.
