They couldn't provide a consistent caregiver even though we discussed it during the interview process, I'm surprised they still list us as clients for this survey since we dropped them after the 2nd week of service, and its been over a yr since having them here to help with mom

Affordable Family Care is top notch. Detailed first visit with a nurse to determine what level of care was needed. Scheduling team was always available and happy to help. Our caregiver was the best. While we only needed services a couple of months, they were always flexible and reliable. Will definitely call them first if we need them again.

We ended up placing her in Memory care at Cadence in Wake Forest. She was there for 5 months before the Lord took her home. I believe Cadence did the best they could. It was a clean environment and lots of fun activity. Honestly, it's hard because no one takes care of your loved one like you would. Having said that we wouldn't have done anything different.

Professional and attentive office and caregiver staff. Their minimum hours required per week is 20, so keep that in mind when looking. I highly recommend this home care service to others looking.

I recently hired AFCSNC-Raleigh to give me respite from daily care of an elderly, disabled family member. Two months into the service, I have come to appreciate the professional reliability of this group. Their understanding and compassion for people who care for others is comforting. My situation, or plight, was that I needed a helper to care for my brother in the afternoon, so I could leave the house to conduct necessary business and errands. AFCSNC-Raleigh brought that help to me within just a few days of inquiring about their services. They did a good job of matching my brother with an aide that he truly relates to, and finds his company enjoyable. Once or twice, I had to request a change in scheduling, and the office manager was able to accommodate me. All of my communications with the office staff have been immediate in response and helpful in resolving matters. I am really impressed by that. In my initial search for a home-care provider, AFCSNC was the most affordable.

Good experience, no complaints. Good cleanliness. No issues. Staff members is friendly and good with my mom. Quality of care seems good, she takes a lot of time helping my mom get dressed and ready for the day. Meals and dining have been good, it always takes some time to sort through, but I think she's been willing to listen to my moms needs. Activities have been good, I wish my mom got more exercise but I think the staff member does what she can to get her to get up and move it out. The value for the cost seems good. I have no complaints.

Too many substitutes, but other than that it was a good experience. We would recommend Affordable Family Care to others if they can cut down on the substitutes. You train and become attached to a caregiver and then next they are gone.

The staff at Affordable Family Care have been extremely helpful to us in establishing and maintaining in-home care for my Mom. The caregiver they have provided consistently goes above and beyond her required responsibilities and has become a part of our family and a good friend to my mother.

The professionalism and genuine concern of the staff and more especially the caregivers we had 24 hours a day 7 days a week was the best it could possibly be. The sensitivity to our needs and selection process to select the right caregivers for us was exceptional. The two caregivers we had for the entire time were so very special. Both were loving, caring, gentle and dedicated ladies. Within hours of their arrival in our home we came to love them and appreciate so much the obvious fact that what they do is not just a job to them it's a calling to serve. It was our pleasure and indeed honor to have these ladies in our home and in essence be a part of our family for the weeks they were needed. I know that God blesses them in the comfort they bring others and your company is truly a blessing to a community of people who need professional care in a critical time of need. We used them for a year and a half had 3 good care givers but also had care givers that talked nasty to my dad had care givers that were consistently late 20 minutes or more had done where the cos were looking for them had some that they brought boyfriends with them. Then they dropped us do to how far out my parents lived and left me to try to find more care givers when I lived 3 hours away.

This service is very accommodating and they will do whatever they can to satisfy your needs. They are very open and they listen and they will try to make sure that all of your needs are met. While using the services we had two caregivers that swapped out weekly. We did have to replace one worker and now the new person is working out greatly. We just wanted to make sure that my loved one was comfortable and that the caregiver fit. The company was quick to switch and find someone that would mesh better with my loved one.

For the most part things were ok. The only thing I did not like was that you do not have a consistent caregivers, it was someone new almost every single time. They do have a minimum amount of hours and we did not meet those requirements so we are not with them any longer.

We have had several caregivers since we started using Affordable Family Care Services and they have all been satisfactory. I would recommend this company to others looking for home care.

The staff was very friendly. There was some staff that was really great and others that were inconsistent. I would try to get a regular caregiver if you can for consistency. I would recommend this service to others based on my experience.

They're a good group, but you do have to weed through a few of the caretakers until you find the right one. They're very friendly. I enjoy talking to the head nurse. - she's very helpful.

We have been very pleased with Affordable Family Care. The employees that help our family member in need are very helpful and do a great job. They are polite, kind, and show a genuine interest in our family member. It has been a blessing to our family to have found Affordable Family Care.
