It was a little more pricey than other places, but I would recommend. The staff is amazing. They accepted her quickly. She was hospitalized for a long time priori. It was also very nice and they people were great.... Read more

A recent change in their Director which has caused some care staff to leave. I have not met this Director, but the prior one was wonderful during my parents illness and Dad's death. The care staff is wonderful!

June 8, 2023Hello Liz, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are so glad to hear about your experience with our community. Our dedicated associates take great pride in providing the very best experience possible and your compliments are a highlight for our team. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for choosing The Branches of Marlboro.
The care and kindness from the staff from top to bottom is exceptional. The apartment that was available check off all the boxes that was desired for a living environment. Food offerings and quality of food is excellent. Overall community atmosphere, friendliness of residents, activities & services provided on site are wonderful. My father's physical & mental health has done a complete 360.

Choosing The Branches of Marlboro was the best decision for our mom. It's such a cheerful place. Bright and accommodating. We have had a great experience. My mom is thriving. Making friends. Caring about her appearance! Very engaged. The staff is wonderful. Honestly I can't say enough about The Branches. It was such a hard decision, and we thought she'd be so unhappy. At first she was, but now she tells us stories about her friends. And she seldom complains of pain anymore.

This facility is wonderful. My loved one initially didn't want to go into Assisted Living, but they made him feel right at home here. The staff made it an easy transition. The staff here were wonderful. They were very professional, helpful, and always responsive. Housekeeping was good. Communication with the family was great. All around, this facility was excellent. I'd recommend them to anybody.

The Branches of Marlboro is a beautiful community, it is so nice and clean and everything is easily accessible for the residents. We love the layout of the community is very convenient to get from one place to the other. The staff members are so friendly, so helpful and always cheerful. The meals started out to be really good but the quality has gone down some - the service is great but sometimes the meals are served cold and occasionally they have some odd choices. Our loved one has been really happy so far and she loves playing bingo several times a week and there is musical entertainment quite often. This community is overall quality living for seniors .

My loved one has a debilitating illness, and we were disappointed by the lack of understanding from the care providers. For example, he can't move his legs. And when they moved him, they continued to tell him to move his legs, over and over again. They just weren't willing to take the time to listen to what he had to say. He's as easygoing as they come, but they didn't have compassion for him living in a body that just doesn't work, which is frustrating to him. I didn't see the nurses doing things to meet his needs, nor was I educated on what I could do to help meet his needs. The front desk staff were very friendly, but the care providers not so much. The cost was higher, yet the quality of care was significantly less in terms of respecting him as a human being. When I would talk to them about my concerns, they responded positively. But there seemed to be a disconnect between administration and caretakers, because we just didn't see results.

It's like a Disney hotel. They have several activities, even taking the residents out for ice cream. They have a concert every week, one of the staff plays guitar and sings. Very clean and the staff is very nice, high energy, and engaging with the residents. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Our mother needed advanced care and The Branches was able to provide that, if it was not for The Branches and their staff our loved one would be at a nursing home right now. It is expensive but our loved ones are paying for higher care and based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend them for families looking for a place for there loved ones.

Overall, I just feel like we were a bit oversold. Upon moving my loved one in, we were promised one on one care and that issues would be addressed. But that hasn't been the case. I feel like everyone there is pretty nice and my loved one has a roof over her head, but most times that's about it. My loved one needs help with little things, like using the phone/dialing the number and she doesn't get that. To be fair, she's not good about asking for help. But I've told them that several times. I was hoping that communicating that to them would help them be a little more proactive and that they would make it a point to check in on her a little bit more. But they don't. So it seems to be a problem on both ends. Every time I call, they are very nice. But the issues still remain. I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what the problem is. I will say their food is delicious and my loved one is very happy with that. Also, housekeeping is very good about tidying up and asking her if she needs laundry done, etc. At this point, I'm not sure if I would recommend them to family and friends.
Our family had an in person tour and it was a good tour experience it just was not the most suitable for our loved needs
I have experienced a general lack of communication from The Branches. I also feel like they're understaffed. While they might meet minimum state requirements, the staff are overworked. I expect the corers to be caring for the people there, but they seem to have additional duties, such as doing the laundry, serving the meals, washing up, things that I would class as housekeeping and catering duties. And that takes away from their ability to care for the people there. For instance, lots of time after dinner, everybody is assembled in one area, and there's no staff keeping an eye on them. They're all off cleaning up after dinner.

It has been wonderful. I'm very happy with The Branches of Marlboro. The staff show patience, care, concern, and attentiveness toward their residents. They're supportive. I think they've bent over backwards for our family. The facility itself is excellent. And my loved one seems quite happy with the food.

Right away we knew this was going to be a great community for our loved one, they felt very comfortable right away. It is a very homey community and we would recommend The Branches to other families.

This has been a great place for my loved one. There is a homey feel to the community and great accommodations for the residents. The rooms are light, bright, and new. Exercise, happy hour, entertainment, games, arts and crafts and more are some of the activities available for the residents to choose from. There is continually care from low to high care levels.

The Branches community is lovely, clean and beautiful and we liked the location best. Due to our loved ones health at the time he was not able to participate in activities but we saw plenty being offered for the residents. It is pricey like all facilities are but for what they provided and the quality of care it was worth it.

This community had a very cold vibe to it. I did not like the feeling and I knew that it would not fit my loved ones needs.
Our family was able to do an in person tour and we have a great experience. The community was beautiful and the gentlemen who showed us around was very nice, we really did have a good feeling about the place. However, the other community we were looking at just had a huge advantage because of the location, it was close to a shopping area and this community is not.
