Our family had an in person tour with Sunrise and the community was very nice, but the value for cost was just to high for what we were comfortable with. We also wanted a community that solely focused on memory care.
We chose this facility because of the location. It was important to us that they do allow pets with rules and guidelines, so that was big for us. They are great with communication, we can set up facetimes when available, we can also do window visits. They are starting to let loved ones in as long as we have been vaccinated. They also send newsletters for updates inside the community and do a lot to keep families engaged. I think they truly care about their residents. I would absolutely recommend them.

We went to 5 other ones and Sunrise was beautiful,m it looked like a hotel .they seemed personable and we just thought it would be a good fit. Her room is very nice, they have a nice screen in porch and outside gardens for the residents in memory care. The director is good with communication and sends us emails with updates on what is going on. I think they are opening up the dining room soon and I cannot wait to go and eat with them, I have heard the food is good and chef prepared. If mom does not like what is being served, they will accommodate other things like PB&Js. They do have an app called smiles where you can see pictures and send them notes, but have the communication that way has been a little bit laxed. Overall, I would definitely recommend to others looking.

Our loved one enjoyed the meals at the community, but with the covid restrictions it was hard to really get a good feel of the community. However when we were able to visit the community they really made that pleasant and they were always able to connect us to our loved one.

We chose Sunrise of Lower Makefield because we had to move him in a hurry because his level of care was increasing and they were able to provide the necessary level of care and had availability. The room sizes here are very generous. The staff have been super with communication, we get an email every week with covid updates. This is the 3rd place my father has lived and it is by far the best. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

The care services are beyond negative, there are times they forgot to feed our loved one, they would clean our loved one when she would get sick, she would sit in filth for days. They should be put out business, and they have a bunch of kids running the place. The director was never there, and the whole organization is bad.

They were very good with my wife's hygiene and they did a good job keeping the community itself clean as well. The staff was very warm and made my wife feel like they really cared about her and it made for a lighter time. Activities and food were both very good. Sunrise was a great value for the price considering the cleanliness of the community and the personal care they were providing.

Thanks to a Place for Mom, Sunrise Senior Living of Lower Makefield, was a God send. Could not have a better place for my Mom to be then here. It a perfect size and the people that work there in EVERY ASPECT are just great. They all seem to work together and really take wonderful care of the residents. I would highly recommend Sunrise to anyone. Please keep up the good work and please, to the higher ups, appreciate everyone that works there. You have a good thing going on here. Thanks to all, [name removed]

My father did not want to go to a care facility, he is 90 and had lived on his own (with family help) in a condo prior to September. Sunrise looks so nice and the staff are so very cordial and helpful and patient that he gradually went from unhappy to accepting to then really feeling happy and like part of the community. Only took about 3-4 weeks for that process. He's been there about 3 months now and really loves it. He is socializing and communicating with other non-family people much more at Sunrise. Not that he is ever going to play Bingo (well, maybe!), but they have lots of other things going on: trips to restaurants and church, holiday singers and bands come to visit, different kinds of food treats on different days. And if you feel like staying in your room most of a day, that is fine too. My father likes the meals a lot most of the time and he is quite picky about that. [Name removed] in sales was our introduction to Sunrise initially and her cheerfulness and helpfulness with the move-in period really continued into what we then have found with the whole residential experience.

Deplorable lack of professionalism. Led my family down the garden path, changing pricing from one call to another, and then denying my husband a room after five weeks without sufficient cause. Left us in a lurch with no apology. Beware the “sales/marketing “ manipulations.

We toured this community and we wanted a community where my mom could walk as much as needed. The community was clean and the list of the meals and the activities were helpful. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one

We really liked this community when we had a tour. They were initially our first choice but we found that the state of Pennsylvania does not accept our Medicaid.

This is a wonderful home for aging adults. The facility is beautiful, very well-kept, and the staff is caring. While Mom's stay was brief (she passed after 6 weeks), our family felt welcome, and Mom always commented "Everybody is so Nice!" I must say, joining your loved one for a meal feels awkward. You must purchase a ticket at the front desk to be served. Other places merely add your meal to the resident's bill, which is more discreet. But other than that, a first rate residence for affluent older persons.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one since he had recently made the move into this community. The staff have all been very helpful and I am comfortable with the quality of care he is receiving. He has had no complaints about the food and enjoys the social environment with the other residents.

I had a nice tour of this community. Everything went well overall. The staff was kind, and informative. My questions were answered. The community looked nice, everything was well maintained. It was a good experience, and everyone was kind to my family, and myself.

Everything is going okay. I'm hoping they make some changes with the way they do their payment and billing. Our bill was twice as much and they added stuff on to the bill. The first bill was in the thousands! They are currently reviewing and correcting the bill after we discussed this is not what we agreed.

This community reminded me of a resort. It was clean and the staff I met were nice. This community was expensive for the services my loved one needed.

I couldn't be happier with my choice to move my mother to this community. She is doing very well since her move, and I'am very satisfied with all they have done for us. The staff is wonderful. They are really accommodating, and responsive. She enjoys the activities they have available. This has worked out to be a very good move for her. I would highly recommend this community. It is a great facility.

My father is receiving good care from the caregivers at the Sunrise Senior Living of Lower Makefield. The place is maintained well. I am currently waiting on some returned calls, but other than that, the care is excellent.
