The community was mostly nice, but there was always a shortage of staff that actually wanted to help the residents. The therapy department was not very good. There was no doubt that the facility's main interest was financial; however, the maintenance was mostly good, the management mostly responsive, the food was okay, and many of the staff were really nice and kind. Everything about this place was inconsistent. This included medication management services, food quality and dining services, caregiver (resident assistant) services, housekeeping services, facility maintenance services, activities (especially on weekends), marketing hype, and management responsiveness to family member concerns and oversight of staff performance. A watchful eye is needed to advocate for resident family members.

Housekeeping is horrible. Staff is very friendly. No communication with the family, at all. The meals are of mediocre quality. The move in process was fine. Suggestion for improvement: work on communications and food. It's a 50/50 on recommendation to others, for me. She pays too much for what care she gets, but staff are friendly.

Mom and Dad are happy at Spring Creek Village and that's the main thing. I feel they are safe there and well attended to. Online availability to menus and activity calendar and billing is much less than either I was lead to believe or perhaps I just assumed. Either way, it's been easy to connect with the right staff member as my needs arise. One silly thing - the cable TV which is included with the rent is not good at all - lots of channels coming thru in standard definition and not a great picture. Anyway, I'm happy with our choice for them to be at Spring Creek Village.

I’m helping my neighbors find an assisted living, staff & residents were very welcoming despite we did not have an appointment. Very clean, food looked great, the staff was friendly. Will definitely recommend this place.

September 1, 2023Thank you so much for your review!
Not impressed. They are understaffed and when you bring a deficit to the director, [name removed], Who told us she is responsible for everything but has accountability for nothing and turns a blind eye to all discrepancies. Really sad my parent is in such a bad place. They are fantastic at raising prices and cutting staff and making a profit.

My loved one is a resident at Spring Creek Village. They're a good bunch of folks here. The move in was as smooth as silk and the staff was and is great. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends!

April 26, 2023Thank you for your review! We're so glad you've had such a good experience with our staff and community.
The food for sure, could be improved. Compassion on the corporate side could be greatly improved! The health care was great. The living conditions were great. The food was terrible and when my loved one passed away there, the office staff wanted 30 days notice. They knew my loved one was going downhill and that hospice was with them for the last two weeks before they passed. How can you give 30 days notice? Very greedy!

There is no complaints about the food. The staff is very friendly, and they are willing to go out of there way to accomodate any needs, or questions that I may have. They were very great with getting my loved one acclimated with the new community.

we toured Spring Creek and thought it was great all around. we chose another community because it was smaller and had a more convenient location.
They have a memory care unit which is where my husband was. They said they knew what his condition was and that they could handle him. They were not able to care for him and they sent him to Oceans. I noticed when we would visit that the residents were all just sitting there, not walking or talking almost like they were drugged. I would not recommend the memory care unit to others looking.

I would recommend it. So far we have no complaints, and everything has been good. Every time we've been there, it's been very clean. Mom says they're very friendly. And so far the activities have been really good for her.

We liked Spring Creek Village. It was nice seeing the residents up and walking around, and it seemed like there was staff engaging with the residents in different activities. It just wasn’t in our price range. And then after visiting another facility, I didn’t think the staff at Spring Creek Village was as personable, and they didn't spend as much time with us to address our questions.
The staff pay great attention to anything that I request. I would like to see my mother showered more often, although I think they do it twice a week. She loves the food. There's a good variety. It's good quality and very nutritionally balanced. The activities are good overall. I would just like to see more options for those who are more mobile like my mom.

I feel like everyone was welcoming and friendly. The move in and transition was easy. They were very dependable and everyone has a cell phone available including staff and residents to text if anything is needed.

Their staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. And I have found them to be very responsive to issues and concerns that need to be addressed. Which is a good thing - I don't think it's reasonable to think that there won't be any issues that come up. I've been very impressed with the level of concern that they demonstrate, and also the timeliness of addressing issues. They take things very seriously. They're getting back to doing more and more activities. I think they have a great offering of things to do and a fabulous activities director.

A Place for Mom has scored Spring Creek Village 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
