Our loved ones are to themselves a lot, but they do like their view and their freedom. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families. The units are small for independent living but still are nice

My mom was only at The Village for less than 3 months and half of that she was in and out of the hospital. I will tell you this, the lady in charge of the nurses is mean. The nurses were wonderful. I liked them all. It was just that one person. And she was working on kicking my mom out because her level of care increased. I mean, was actually evicting an 88 year old woman almost, whether or not I had found a new place. And I think that lady got a promotion. Because of her, I would not recommend The Village in the future.

My main issue is with the lady that is head of nurses on the 4th floor. The rest of the staff are simply wonderful. Actives are either non existing or they didn't come remind her and/or take her to them.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but at times overworked. The quality of the food was better than where my loved one was before. The facility was good overall, although I was put off by ongoing construction. Finding parking was a challenge, as was continual noise outside my loved one's room. And there was no end date given for when that would be completed.

This place is awesome. They answer all questions. They have housekeeping once per week. This place is top notch. Everything has been fantastic. They have multiple activities. They have a daily schedule with activites. They offer a lot, for what you spend. They are there if my loved one needs anything. They are quick to respond, and they take care of the residents.

The tour experience with Village at Woodlands Waterway was great! It is a high rise facility which was the only drawback for us. It seemed like a very social atmosphere and there were lots of activities offered for the residents. The staff were all great!

The staff members are extremely friendly to the residents and even the families. Every time we come to visit they always ask us how the family is doing and what all we have been up to. They are so hands on, anytime our loved one needs assistance they are right there to step in. The call us anytime they have questions or updates no matter how big or small the update may be. All of the residents are super friendly, even the residents who live on the top floors in independent living will come down to the assisted living folks and mingle. Everyone is always in the common gathering areas just socializing with one another. Our loved one really seems to enjoy the meals and dining service. They provide different daily activities - they have happy hours everyday and onsite physical and occupational therapy. The Village also like sits near this park that is surrounded by water and they have a wheel chair accessible free trolley that will take the residents everyday around to the different local shops and restaurants. Our loved one also have a really nice apartments that has a living area, bedroom, ADA bathroom and was able to bring their own furniture.

I chose The Village at Woodlands Waterway because of the location of the facility. The apartment sizes here are very good. The staff are wonderful as well. The food is good, but sometimes I do not like what they serve. I think it is because of where I am from. I would recommend The Village to others looking.

The staff were friendly. The community was too large and overwhelmed with residents for my loved one.
When we toured with The Village at Woodlands Waterway, they told us there would be remodeling going on within the next few years and she was not sure she wanted to listen to all of the construction. Independent living residents were in the high rise apartments and the assisted living residents are on the lower level, it made her nervous being up high. The facility was more expensive than what we wanted. They did give us a little goody bag after and we thought that was a very nice touch.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was very thorough, all areas clean and living area spacious with a good view.

It is wonderful that my wife and I are in the same building and I can be with her, especially for all of the meals. We are still working out if we can get more flexibility on the menu and we think that could be improved. Other than that we are doing just fine here.

My visit to the Village at the Woodlands cold not have been a better experience . I had the privilege f meeting with [name removed] , Her knowledge and personal experience at the Village personifies the company she works for . Promoting from within and giving the best possible environment to the residences there as the personnel are so very knowledgeable. All the staff are supportive and caring . The apartments are beautiful , spacious, modern and well maintained . The access to the waterway only enhances ones stay at the Village as it provides easy access to shopping , movies , concerts and just pleasurable walking around the waterway. The complete environment is lovely . I highly recommend a visit if you are thinking of Independent Living , Assisted Living or Memory care.
