Our family's experience would recommend, overall a nice facility with caring staff that seem like family.

Overall it's fine there and I never have to worry that my parent isn't safe. Everyone there tries their best. The place could be kept cleaner in my opinion. I see the staff hard at work cleaning, but some areas look disgusting. I know it's hard. Several staff members have left but overall the staff have been nice. It's really, really hard when a staff member leaves because my parent has to get used to a whole new person she doesn't recognize. I realize it's an extremely hard job. Quality of care would probably be better with more staff. Some of the better staff have left but there are a couple of "superstars" still there. Presently my parent has temporary staff from an outside caregiving agency assigned to her room. She never knows who she's going to get and they don't "know" her and her idiosyncrasies. The meals aren't very good at all and don't seem or look nutritious. The activities are the best part about the place is the lady who does the activities! Too bad she can't be there seven days a week. Mom is bored when the activity person isn't there. I wish they could clone her. This past year has been manageable for our budget and a great value, however I was told the prices will increase substantially for the upcoming year and that makes me worry)... Read more

Our Parents in Reunion Court - this is their new home and recovery place

Our best for our parents is paramount! We love them so and they have given so much to us all. Finding a good home where they can be taken care of, loved and assisted in great care for a continued recovery was important. Reunion Court has been exceptional in the PERSONAL level of detail, care, concern, involvement and daily care. We are personally blessed to have [name removed] as mom’s number one health caregiver. She is invested personally, cares immensely and is mom’s best friend! She has made such a difference in her recovery and we can never be grateful enough. These words do not begin to describe the daily investment, time and care she gives to mom but also to dad and the entire family. She is simply the best and we are grateful. The entire staff is dedicated and you’ll see that the moment you entire the doors and meet [name removed]! We can not say enough and [name removed] is truly a blessing who goes above and beyond! She loves her work and it shows. Thank you!??

Review for Reunion Court of the Woodlands

I love the overall feel of the community and the connection the staff make with residents and visitors. It is sparkling clean and fresh and a lovely environment. I am unclear about the way they reached their calculation of the cost of the care services that are beyond the flat fee, based on the 1-5 rating, and that an issue I intend to get clarification on.

Reunion Court's asset is their wonderfully caring staff

The staff at Reunion Court do their best with the diverse abilities of the residents here at this facility. However, they could use more staff. At times, staff aren't around because they are busy with residents and other duties. Trouble calls go unanswered and unresolved sometimes. Also, maintenance staff seems non existent and broken things (toilet paper holder, plumbing) take forever to get attention. The concierge staff are awesome and know how to get answers. The move in process was fine, no issues. My loved one doesn't complain about the meals, but they don't serve anything that I personally would eat. It is frozen dinner type of quality. The activities seem inconsistent at times. My loved one finds them mostly boring. The health aides are marvelous, dealing with accidents and messes. They are angels. This is a Memory Care facility and my loved one finds herself bored and trapped in a small space. It would be nice if this facility had outings for the more capable residents on the Memory Care side. I enjoy interacting with the friendly staff and they truly seem to care for my loved one and all of the other residents. I would recommend the facility to others because the care staff are so wonderful.

Would recommend Reunion Court of the Woodlands

They are all so very friendly that it overshadows anything we don't like about the facility. They could improve by hiring a few more aides for busy times. Sometimes you have to wait awhile for help to come. The room sizes and accommodations are very nice. If anything needs fixing, the maintenance comes quickly. I would recommend Reunion Court of the Woodlands.

Tour experience

Our tour experience with Reunion Court of the Woodlands was great! The only reason we did not choose this facility was because the location was not as convenient for my sister who actually lives in the area. We also just felt the set up of another facility worked out better for our loved one and their needs.

Their follow is strong. They all we're willing and continue to be willing to work with. They also all greet me and my family BY NAME from the first day. The initial meeting I had with Reunion Court was with [Name removed] and he was very kind, funny, and friendly. He took a personal interest in my loved one from the beginning. At the initial interview his FIRST questions were conversational just getting to know my loved one.

Great experience

We chose Reunion Court of the Woodlands because it was in a convenient location, the price was right for us, and also I liked that my friend had her mom here and they had good things to say about it. Several staff members have been there for quite a while which I think says a lot about the facility. They have been in good contact with us the past year with everything that has been going on. I would highly recommend to others looking

This community was my runner up

This is a smaller community than other places I had toured while looking for a place for my Father. If we would have brought him here, he would have had his own room and I didn’t want that. The staff wouldn’t have known what he was doing in his room. I don't think they would've noticed the small things like if my Dad needed a shower, if he wasn't drinking water, or if he became incontinent. He needs more structure than what they would be able to provide. The staff members seemed very good and they knew all of the resident’s names. They truly understood what was going on with the residents. The only thing I didn’t like is that there wasn’t a good ratio of staff versus residents. There’s no way they could be aware of when everyone needed help going to the bathroom. I would recommend this facility to other families.
