Quality and consistency of care has been a major issue, we have talked with staff and leadership on numerous occasions. Many days when no one shows up to help my mom get up in morning, many many times when response to request for assistance is greater than 30 mins and sometimes as long as an hour. They keep telling us they're sorry and they want to earn our trust, yet happens again. Their billing dept is also frequently confused. If someone is very independent it's likely fine, when one needs more care is where they drop the ball

Response from Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge
August 27, 2024Hello! We definitely apologize for the turnover and know that is not ideal but are working to re-build our team for the long term. We have a new executive director and sales director in place now. If you'd like to set up a meet and greet, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to assist and want to make sure you know who all leadership team members are and know we're available. We have a full team at this time!
I had to quickly find an assisted living facility for my Mother with Macular Degeneration and Stepfather with advanced Parkinson's, who could not be released from the VA to go back to their apartment for safey reasons, which had to be located near me and would accept Elderly Waver. I recieved lists of assisted living facilities from the VA social worker and the MN Senior Linkage Line social worker, which was overwhelming to say the least. I was also contacted by [name removed] with A Place For Mom, who gave me a much shorter list for my local area, one of which was Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge, which I toured with my Mother and Sister. Needless to say, it was literally the perfect place for my Mom and Stepfather as the facility and staff checked every one of our boxes so we looked no further and put down a deposit. It took 4 months to get State assistance approval but Rose Arbor graciously held spots for them and they are now settled in. So greatful for [name removed] and A Place For Mom.

Response from Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge
September 5, 2024We appreciate your kind words and review Randy. It is a pleasure to have your Mother and Stepfather part of the Rose Arbor family.
I would recommend Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge to others. I can't speak too much on the staff or care as my father is in Independent Living right now. I will say that the Independent Living plus the add on package for meals and housekeeping is the most cost effective that I've seen. His apartment appears to be consistently cleaned each week. He likes living there. It's also in a great location.

September 5, 2024Thank you for recommending Rose Arbor! We appreciate your kind words and review Kelsey.
I love my apartment. I just don't like some of the stuff that goes on around here. The food is terrible, and they just don't seem to listen when we complain about it and it's costing us $10 a meal. It's on our contract in our package and that's when you eat or not. We have a hard time keeping staff the people that work in the kitchen and the ones that assist with residence or even clean, they just don't stay with us very long.

The staff is very friendly and willing to help out when you ask. The front desk staff is amazing. Housekeeping is friendly and thorough. The contract signing and move-in went very smoothly. The food, in general, is good. Some ups some downs, but trending to be better. We would recommend living here.

September 5, 2024Thank you for your review Scott, we take pride in caring for our residents and community.
My loved one is in as independent living, so we aren't using the housekeeping and nursing services on a regular basis. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful answering questions. They went out of their way for her to borrow furniture until hers had arrived. The building is homey and cozy feeling. Her apartment was one of the biggest for the price. It is close to shopping and medical facilities. I would recommend this facility.

August 8, 2024Jennifer C, thank you for sharing your positive experience!
Toured this community and loved the home-like atmosphere and friendliness of the residents and staff. The apartments were very spacious. The food looked delicious too! We did tour during lunch time. We liked that the apartments had kitchens and updated appliances. They even had a garage for resident parking! We were shown many areas where residents can enjoy time out of their apartments. The chapel was beautiful. We are definitely considering this community for my parents.

September 5, 2024We greatly appreciate your feedback! It’s so wonderful to hear you had a pleasant first experience at Rose Arbor.
My elderly grandmother has been at Rose Arbor for about three years now. She is as a little reluctant to leave her home, but it was time for her to be in a safer environment. Since moving into Rose Arbor, she’s been so happy. She loves the community and the staff have been exceptional.

September 5, 2024Hello Tyler, We are so grateful you took the time to share your feedback. It is our pleasure to care for your loved one.
Moving my parents to assisted living was one of the most difficult decisions. They lived in their home for almost 60 years. I felt comforted and supported throughout the move in process. I didn’t even know what questions to ask in the beginning. The staff at the community took the extra time we all needed to ensure a smooth move. My parents seem happy and have already connected with a few other married couples in similar circumstances.

Look elsewhere. I picked this community because of the location, sales pitch was good, but not consistent with our experience so far.

Toured with [name removed] and she was knowledgeable and kind. She took the time to listen to my Dad and what he was looking for and asked him what he wanted and needed. The place was clean and the staff we came across were all pleasant. The activity guy stopped in to introduce himself and talk to my Dad and was also very kind to us. The apartments have full kitchens but have other meal options available which is important to him. Garage parking too! Would recommend this community

My father is currently a resident at Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge. Overall, things have been good for him at this facility on the Independent Living side. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff is great. The activities and value for cost are good. My father's only complaint is the food. I know a few other residents have complaints about the food, also. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

l am living at Rose Arbor and I love it. My apartment is big and I have it decorated so nice. There are lots of activities if you care to join. the staff are very nice. They do not have bath tubs which I miss a lot. There is a nurse on duty 7/24, and a doctor comes on Wednesday. I would recommend this place to anyone that is older. The rent is quite expensive, between [fee removed] a month but most people either have sold their house or have other means to pay, and when that runs out there is programs that will pay your rent.

It took my mother a while to get through the whole transition period, but she is very happy with the people, the friendliness, and the activities they have provided. It has been a blessing and we would definitely recommend Rose Arbor & Wildflower Lodge.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour but overall we just did not like it for our loved one it was not going to be the place for them
Very negative experience, the staff seemed very fake and like they were told to be nice. No staff present in memory care for hours even during meals, snacks are thrown to them like dogs. Our loved one was removed from memory care as they fell unmonitored which caused a broke hip
