Pleasant Villa Retirement Home

Pleasant Villa Retirement home was excellent! They were very caring, super clean, excellent condition, and ran very professionally and reasonably priced. We have nothing but good things to say about these folks! Everyone there is very accommodating and based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend them to other families .

We picked this community because it was the best fit for my loved one. We loved it and she loved it. They went above and beyond. The director is amazing and really cares for the residents. I would recommend to other families.

They've been very fair and very good to our loved one. I have nothing to complain about. The facility is very clean. And they have a lot of activities for the residents.

The staff are very helpful and very kind. It's a very homey atmosphere. Unlike other places, the food is superb. They have a good variety, balanced meals that are home cooked, and seconds if you want them. I think the apartments are very nice. They're small but still suit my friend's needs. In visiting her, it feels like home to me. If I needed a place like this, Pleasant Villa would be the first place I would go.

If you can afford another community, I would suggest you go to the other one. I am getting what I am paying for, and it is lacking in some areas. The residents play bingo for activities and this is all I've seen done for activities.

We had a nice tour of this community. Everyone was very nice, and kind to us. Everything looked great, and very clean. The staff was informative, and answered all my questions. Our tour went well.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Pleasant Villa Retirement. The staff here is friendly and professional, and they do a great job looking out for the people that live here. One person in particular, Reed, has really gone above and beyond helping us out, and really helped my loved one get settled in and comfortable. It's a very nice place overall, and I would recommend it to others.

Pleasant Villa is an affordable independent living facility that's locally owned and operated. There's a gentleness about this facility's family-like atmosphere that makes its residents feel comfortable and "at home". The facility has two stories, but all rooms are single level and most are rented as unfurnished. An elevator provides easy access to all second story rooms. All facilities can be accessed without having to use stairs. The owner/director and his assistant are extraordinary and loving people. They are also "hands-on" managers who go far beyond the call of duty to support and care for their residents. Similarly, their kind and considerate staff are appreciated and well liked by the residents. Although independent living facilities are not allowed to provide medical services or dispense medications, if desired, the Pleasant Villa staff is willing to regularly remind residents to carry out doctor prescribed medication routines. The facility provides a variety of standard and enhanced services including: laundry, housekeeping, in-room cable television and three meal-per-day dining. There is also a barber/beautician on site. The staff will shop off-site for residents once a week if desired. In summary, Pleasant Villa provides independent residents with an affordable, secure and comfortable living situation that is hard to beat.

It is a very out of the way facility

Toured on 11/21/13. Independent living. Clean, pleasant staff, residents appeared happy and content. Daily planned activities. Most impressive of all sites visited.

This place sounds great and I wish it would have worked out for my brother in law but I believe he needs more supervision than this home supplies. The manager and owner are extremely helpful and accommodating.
