I love all of the staff. I enjoy living here. They take excellent care of me.

I had a tour at Palmyra Senior Living today. This is a hard transition for me, knowing that I will be giving up my home to move to a facility. The staff made me feel so welcome and the lovely lady I met with, I believe her name was [name removed], answered all of my questions and was so patient with me. I've toured other places and felt like I was being pressured into moving, but not here! The lobby was beautiful and the room I saw was a perfect size for me. They were eating lunch when I toured, and it smelled and looked really good. When I am ready, I know where I will be going.

The facility staff are always so friendly and welcoming when I come to visit. My loved one always looks so nice when I pop in. Today they were painting Christmas pictures. The joy on the residents faces spoke for itself. Highly recommend bringing your loved here.

The staff is kind of helpful. I forget a lot but they help me with reminders and helping me with everyday things. I am glad I'm here

I always have to help I don't have to worry about falling or getting hurt because the staff take good care of me. I could not live on my own anymore and I'm glad i chose to live here. I love it

The staff at Palmyra Senior Living is amazing! [name removed] & her team are top notch. My mom loves it here. She considers everyone their part of her family. They really do take care of their greatest generation by living what they do. It shows on the care my mom receives & how she is always smiling. My mother has been with this facility for a year and she loves it and everyone who works there. Even I would come here when I get older. Mom likes that the staff check on her often and keep her laughing and happy!

I am so glad that I'm here. I used to have a home in Palmyra and I feel like I'm home again! The staff are very kind and knowledgeable and they take great care of me. Everyone is so kind and helpful. It is a very professional organization.

My mom has been a resident here for a year now . There has been a change in ownership a few months ago .The new owner is extremely skilled and genuinely cares for all of those under his care . The staff is very kind and thoughtful . The building is well maintained.. New management is truly amazing. I am so thankful to them for taking such good care of my mom . I would highly recommend Palmyra senior living to everyone

Horrible service,no dietitian,no phones,no idea on procedures and needs reviewed.

The staff was worked hard. I believe the community could used more hands for the residents. I would really recommend the community compared to other communities in the area. This is a small community. In comparing the rooms to other communities they were good. My loved one was bed ridden. If someone needs independent living, then they may want more room.

This community is better than the prior community. This is a wonderful community and take good care of my loved one and the other residents. The food is cooked on site. They had activities prior to COVID, and they did have an activity coordinator for the community.

After reading the August 2020 review about their disappointing experience with Heritage House, I too had a very similar experience. My parent was also suffering with dementia during the pandemic and her disease started progressing rapidly, so we made the painful decision to research assisted living facilities. After countless virtual tours and Skype calls, we divided on Heritage House Palmyra. I will regret that decision for the rest of my life. After the first week I quickly realized this facility was not safe and that we needed to get mom out as soon as possible. They didn’t make that easy on us. Mom moved in with an IPhone that she used to FaceTime. It was the one way I got to see her face to know that she was ok. She needed help to make the call, because she forgets which buttons to use. The staff assisted her the first few days, but that stopped. Multiple attempts to reach the facility and staff went unreturned. I spent 4 anguishing days not being able to reach her. When we finally got her out, her IPhone was also “lost”. I can continue with additional comments, but I’ll stop here. I only hope that I can spare one person the anguish I experienced by being as transparent as possible about Heritage House of Palmyra.

Making the move to a nursing home from having a parent live with you full time is hard enough. Our hopes were that mom would feel at home especially since battling dementia during a pandemic, but that was not the case. After plenty of research and virtual tours (because touring in person was not an option due to the pandemic) we choose Palmyra Heritage House because we thought it checked all of the boxes. Mom was there less than a month and it was too long. It was like pulling teeth to get her out of there, and the team at Palmyra Heritage House did not make it easy for us. On top of that, the 2 nurses that we actually connected with mysteriously “no longer work there” and we went days without talking to or hearing from mom. Mom had an iPad that she loved and was on for most of the day, and the iPad was “lost” in just the few short days she was there. I could really go on and on about our poor experience, but the bottom line is it we were hurt by how we were treated and how our mom was treated in a place that was supposed to help us feel comforted during this transition. I do not recommend this facility even 1 star if it was an option.

I moved mom out of this facility within the first three weeks. The facility is unsafe. Due to their lack of staff, there is no one covering the front door. You can literally walk in the front door and proceed to a residents room without being seen or stopped. Definitely do not recommend for a resident that is mid to high functioning.

Our Dad recently moved in to this nice little place. It doesn't cost as much as the big chains but has all the amenities he needed. It is always very clean and [name removed] was super to work with. She is the Administrator and a nurse so that is super convenient. We would highly recommend to anyone!

My family and I met with the new administrator this week and we couldn't be more impressed. She had done a wonderful job with this little facility. We like the smaller size of the facility and our Dad definitely gets more one on one care because of it. Highly recommended!
