This is a warm, friendly place. After seeing several other places, we kept coming back, and felt good about the facility every time. Nice staff, clean and residents all seemed content. Mom is looking forward to moving in on the [date removed]!

Brookdale Lutz is really a lovely community. It is surrounded by trees in a wooded neighborhood. It is a smaller laid-back quiet environment. My mother in law she really likes the food. They do not offer a lot for people who eat a strictly vegan diet. So far she has participated in some of the activities that they offer, and she is going to attend an exercise class tomorrow. They do provide transportation for excursions out and about which she has also engaged in. We thought it was a nice touch when they appointed her an ambassador to help her become more familiar with her surrounding and what was available to her. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

This is a great community for good care. the community is clean and a nice enviroment. The menu is wonderfull and the variety is outstanding. I am happy knowing that he is making friends with all the activities. We would highly recommend this community for the outstanding care and knowing that the other residents seemed to be social. I would recommend this community for the excellent care and good value for other families.

We toured this community for the care for a friend. The staff was nice and we did like that the community appeared to be clean and well maintained. They offer a nice menu. Activities are offered. We would recommend this community for other families to tour for care for a loved one.

We toured this community. The staff was outstanding. the community was very clean. The meals need a lot of improvements. The community was clean. The room that we were offer was more then what we could afford. We would recommend this community to tour for the care of a loved one for care. This is a community that is costly.

My mother is doing pretty well at this community. She is still adjusting, but so far everything is working out pretty well. The is the best for her and her needs. They are caring for her well, and I'am satisfied with her move here. The staff is wonderful, they are very kind. There are activities available for her when she ready. She isn't pleased with the meals. They need more of a variety for the residents to choose from. I know she is safe and in good hands. This is a community I would recommend.

We were helped and taken on the tour by some very knowledgeable people. We just did not go with this community because of the setting. It was not peaceful enough for what my loved one was looking for.

My experience at this community has been a complete nightmare, the staff absolutely did not take care of my grandmothers needs and neglected her health completely. They did not follow with any promises they had told me and I removed her immediately from there care. The director was extremely unprofessional and I had over heard her saying many bad things about my loved one and other residents to the other staff. Every possible disappointment that was imaginable happened and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Brookdale has a warm, welcoming entrance. Everyone one of the staff we met, we liked! The tenants, are very nice, and say hello to everyone! We've met a few and a lot of them have been here for years, and then stayed after their spouse's passed on. They love it here and it really is well put together with tons of activities, a bus to take you shopping, to the movies or other entertainment. Everything is at your fingertips! Beautiful Dinning, a Solon, Doctor's, Nurses...right there! You really can't beat it! And, last but not least, Help! When you're looking after someone, and you're both getting up there in age, it is a struggle for one of them, always. So there is help with baths, going to bed, dressing and even taking care of your meds you might forget! It really is amazing and very comforting.

My loved ones really love the staff here. They are very caring and helpful. They offer a good amount of activities for them to get involved. The only thing is, is that the food is mediocre. The portions are small and the food is often served cold. If they improve this the community would be great. They also could use more staff for the residents.

I was very impressed! There wasn't a thing that my mom would need that they did not provide. The facility was clean and very organized. There were plenty of room options. Everyone was very friendly and one of the residents said to my mom " You'll love it here."

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this facility is. It is very clean, bright and open. The staff is friendly and there are so many activities to keep the residents busy. When my mother and I toured the place, every resident we spoke to said they loved it there. It was the first and only place I toured.

After searching long and hard between Tampa and Spring Hill, FL, my aunt chose Horizon Bay - Lutz for the next phase of her life. Giving up her house was a difficult decision, but she has not regretted moving to Horizon Bay - Lutz for even one day. She liked it immediately as we drove into the parking lot! The facility has a lovely "rural" setting and the fact that it is only a two-story building made her more feel at ease. The staff members were kind and efficient and current residents were so welcoming that they made her feel at home from day one. She really enjoys the activities and dining facilities. He is getting very good service, I am very happy with the service. He has had no complaints. He is eating well, and likes the idea that he can go down to get what he wants when he wants. The billing was a little confusing, but they sat down with me and explained it. We chose them because everyone seemed happy there, other places we looked at the residents all looked unhappy like they just wanted to leave.

The people there at Horizon Bay Lutz were very nice, very professional, and very caring. They treated my mom very well. She was only there for four days before she passed away, but during that time she was in very loving caring hands. Also, since my mother passed they did not make me pay for the full month which they very well could have done. I thought that was very professional of them.

everyone is very nice the sevices is wounderful i have used a lot of the activites here with some of the friends i have the staff is very very nice and the food is great! i would recommend to another famliy if their loved one needs a community or a new home...i rate the over all property a 5 star rating

Overall we are very pleased. I do feel like they should have painted and replaced carpet in the room. I think that's what you should in between tenants. Also, the cupboards could have been cleaner. But, overall the property is well kept and welcoming.

They do a good job at Horizon Bay overall! The facility itself is clean and well kept, everyone here is pleasant and helpful, and the food is very good! We toured quite a few places when we were looking into care options, and this one really stood out to us as a great value for all of the amenities and services you get in relation to the price!

After visiting many assisted living facilities looking for a future home for my mother, I found that Brookdale Living standards and particularity horizon Bay Lutz offered a community that my mother would enjoy bad benefit from. she was living alone in a small Midwest town, no family nearby and few friends. Mom has been at horizon Bay Lutz for a little over a year and half and I am amazed at the changes in her. She has been able to enjoy life, her new friends, new activities and especially the restaurant style meals. mom did not want to leave her home, but has told me she is glad I encouraged me to move and that Horizon bay lutz is now her home and she is so blessed to have the life she is living. I would recommend Horizon Bay Lutz to anyone looking for a safe, secure and caring facility.

My mom has been at Horizon Bay for two years and loves it there. They'll fix whatever she wants at any meal. She sits wherever she chooses. The entire staff and residents are like family caring for one another.
