At Canyon Winds we made sure that we were building a total care facility that would offer high-class care at a price anyone could afford.
Canyon Winds may be one of the most stunning retirement communities in the Mesa area. Everything is beautiful and modern – from the buildings themselves to our manicured lawns, the interior design, and all of the furniture and artwork. You’ll notice that not only are our staff more than welcome to tend to our residents’ needs, but that this focused care translates to high morale amongst those who call Canyon Winds home. My father used to live in independent living for three months with his dog before finally transferring at [removed]. I simply cannot say enough good things about this location. It's a sophisticated, lovely location with exquisitely tasteful apartments. The entire team is outstanding! The chef is excellent. The locals have all embraced my father and made him feel incredibly welcome. It is wonderful to have people around him who are aware of his speech difficulties and make an effort to include and converse with him. The staff and residents are greatly appreciated!

it was very hard to leave my husband with stranger at first, but it took no time for me to see that Canyon Winds is a caring and safe environment for him. Everyone there goes the extra mile to care for their residents

generally speaking this is a great place, however there are some concerns. Need at least one additional care staff. Meals are too trendy and are not always received well. Waitstaff not always aware of new special food requirements. Everybody is friendly and accommodating when possible

our relative who lives there is very happy and says the staff is very nice. When we are there visiting, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful and the common areas are very clean, however the personal apartment, doesn't seem to get cleaned and we wish the communication was better. We worry about staff turnover and wonderful if the staff may not be treated well or fairly compensated. May the owners could make a little less and pay the staff more so they will stick around. Overall we re happy with Canyon Winds.

This is a loving, caring, ethical asset to our community. I wish there were clones of CWAL everywhere in this country. I have never seen a place with such a concentration of people who care about older people in the most beautiful way.

The grounds look clean but the rooms are not cleaned like they are supposed to. The management was not receptive and you could never get ahold of any of them. The care staff did their best but was not supported. I would not recommend this community to anyone.

My mother has lived in Canyon Winds for two months. It is a lovely facility and the staff is outstanding. My mother is very well looked after. They communicate with me regularly and we work together to create the best care for my mother. I have been very pleased with all aspects of Canyon Winds.
