We took our grandsons there last night for trick or treat with the residents. We had a great time and I believe the residents did too. That was nice for them. The staff that was there were all terrific not only with the kids but their interaction with the residents was impressive. All the staff seemed to enjoy it and were polite, professional and fun. I want to say a big thank you for the kids but also how you treat the residents you take care of.

It is a wonderful facility. Everyone is so kind and [name removed] feels very safe and comfortable there. He is gluten free and they do a fantastic job on his meals. He will be staying there again [date removed] thru [date removed] while I am out of the country. I will not have to worry about him! The facility is self pay. I know we could go someplace else and the insurance company would pay for respite care. we have chosen to stay with Brightstar because I know he receives good care. it is worth every penny I have paid out of pocket...

Have been visiting my friend of about 20 years @ Bright Star over the past 1.5 years. have been impressed as to how the management/staff continue to have (@ my once a week visits) a sincere interest in the compassionate care for each of the residents. In addition, the activities in which the residents are invited to participate are varied and would think to be helpful/stimulating for the residents in the memory care. These include (but surely not limited to) watercolor painting...pitching around the resident circle a beach ball (hand eye/gross/fine motor)...passing around a large inflated balloon...and [name removed](musical therapist) singing oldy but goody songs w/ which the residents were familiar. She engaged nicely w/ the residents in her hour of singing...accompanied by her guitar. There is likewise a place for faith within the floor...which I find personally encouraging. Food is "good" per my friend...and his catheter is changed out regularly. Trash is faithfully picked from room.

Our family had an in person tour with BrightStar Living and we loved it. However they didn't have a 2 bedroom available. It was small, personal and clean. We didn't see everything on the tour, but they did show me memory care which looked the same as regular assisted living. It was one of my first visits. We really liked the smalless of it.
Beautiful facility with light and cheery sunrooms. Terrific second level deck available to memory care any time. Small resident number leads to more personalized attention. Allows the most family interaction of any facility, including 24 hour visitors. Social mealtimes with most residents coming out to the dining room for every meal. Committed to keeping residents as they decline - to and through hospice. Local and corporate management team is committed to hiring and maintaining high quality, caring staff.

The staff members, the care services and the meals and dining experience gets 10 stars. They made an individual unique plan for our loved one that was outside the box, they bent over backwards to make it work and really accommodate his unique needs. They were excellent communicators to our family and really did their best to improve the experience for him whenever and however they could. We had hospice at one point and they worked so well with them, it was an excellent experience and just the best in Cincinnati

We liked that BrightStar was a smaller facility, but the apartment sizes were way to small and I knew my loved one would feel claustrophobic coming from a house. I just did not get the vibe here that I got from some other places we looked.
It's a great atmosphere with a good vibe, and it's a smaller community than many others, which is nice. They're pretty well organized. The care our loved one received was good, with a couple little slip-ups here and there, but nothing truly significant. Overall they were very attentive, friendly ,and welcoming.

Our loved one was only there two weeks for respite care, and the staff were very welcoming. They were extremely flexible and accommodating with our family and loved ones schedule. She was in during the pandemic but they still were able to have a couple of activities here and there. Our loved one always really enjoyed the meals at first, but the unfortunately she got covid and since it messes with your taste-buds she was not a big fan of the food after.

It is very attentive and a great place for my loved one to stay. The staff are very kind, feels that everyone knows them. The community purchased extra of the hobby of my loved to make sure they were happy. The staff communication is great, we talk at least once a week.

The chef would visit my mom every day and asks her what she want's for dinner and makes it for her. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my mom is happy. I would recommend this community to others.
