Atria Park of Glen Ellyn

I moved here from a different place. I was astounded by how nice the staff at Atria is compared to previous places I came from. I am surprised by how nice everyone here has been through the pandemic. My husband is in Atria's memory care and they have done wonders for him.

It really depends on the care level of your loved one. My mom had issues with the laundry and things missing. My mom did not like the food. The room sizes were good. The layout of the community was good for my mom who had a bad knee and could not walk long distances. Parking is an issue.

I don't think the care level is as good as it should be. The activities department does a great job of getting the residents involved. There was a charge to be in their activity club. The rates increased more than we thought it would. The food is pretty good the dining room was nice. There was a lot of staff turn over. New director communicating more with families. The overall experience was that the general staff needs improvement and could be better.

I have been very impressed with how well they have reacted to Covid -19. They work very hard. My wife is in the memory care unit. The room set up is good. The food is good. They have a nice secure patio for the memory care residents to use.

After I lost my wife, I still wanted to be home. My daughter thought this was a nice place for me. I like this place, the staff is very friendly, informative, good service, the place is kept well. They keep me busy with activities. This is the best place to be.

I am an X Combat Veteran, I could have went to Hynes Hospital which is all free for me. I am at Atria because my son and I both love this place. People here treat you like adults not like kids. How could you not be happy when you have wonderful people around you. I have few good friends who I enjoy playing games and going on outings with.

I love Atria! Being a nurse myself, Atria gives more than asked for. My husband lived in LG and was very well taken care of. All the staff still remembers him and his jokes. Atria has an incredible staff. They have good leadership, the care and food are great. The community is clean and follows the government's rules. All the staff is for the residents.

I moved here from Arkansas. I told my daughter that I want a room with lots of windows, which I got. I have been at Atria for almost a year and love this place. No complaints at all. I have been a nurse for 40 years and the staff here does a great job. The service and food is good. Everything works very smoothly here.

When my daughter was looking for places for me and my husband, I was very scared and used to cry. When I moved to Atria I just love this place. The staff is very caring, friendly. They do a great job taking care of my husband who lives in Life Guidance Atria was the best pick for us. I love it, I am not scared either or cry anymore.

My daughter picked this place and I like it. The staff is nice and very helpful. I enjoy playing BINGO, puzzles, exercise.

I came here 2.5 years ago from Burgess Square Rehab. My sons picked this place for me and I am very pleased with Atria. I see a lot coming and going, overall it's a very good choice. I love the location of my room in the building. I have sunlight, enough space, good view. I wouldn't trade my room to anything.

This is my HOME now! I can't think of any better place to go. Atria took me and my wife. [Names removed] teaches me a lot, because we grow older we forget. I love the people here and enjoy the love they have for me. It's a MIRACLE that I am here.

What a fabulous place! The staff unbelievable. The attentiveness and care and all the great activities. I cannot say enough. My mom was in memory care. Her dementia had progressed and they were fabulous. i had so much fun with the staff. I toured seven facilities before I chose Atria for my mom and what a great choice.

Older facility, felt very homey. Two large porches that looked very relaxful when the weather improved. They are in the process of updating some spaces which is were they had space available. Room was just okay. Parking was a big issue, tho they said they were working on getting more spaces. Right across from a nice big park.

Beautiful, clean, but the best part is the staff. They are so friendly & dedicated! They actually stop to greet you & introduce themselves. Even the residents stopped to say how much they like it there! Very expensive memory care rates though.

I am happy living at this community. The staff is helpful when needed. I like that I am able to cook for myself. This is a community with friendly residents and they do offer some activities for us to socialize. I would recommend this community for someone wanting a great place to call home.

Atria Park of Glen Ellyn is a beautiful and inviting community. It is a very clean and well-kept. They could use more staff on hand but they try very hard with the staff they have. The staff is friendly caring and it really showed when they evaluated the situation of why my friend was falling and came up with a solution to help prevent it from happening in the future. The food could definitely use improvement, I have dined there with my friend and it seemed that the added ingredient was too much salt. The staff encourages the residents to participate in the individualized activities that meet their needs at their stage of life. I would definitely recommend Atria Park to friends and family.

We toured this community for the care for a friend. We liked the staff who were able to answer the questions we had on the care that is offered. We like the cleanliness of the community. They offer a nice variety of meals and the activities would be helpful. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

My loved one was there only for a limited amount of time. They had exhibited aggression and how the staff handled it was the complete opposite as to how they said they would handle a situation such as what happened. They are not forth coming with their policies and procedures. Since we were only there a short amount of time I really have nothing else to base my opinion on other than I feel like we were misled after asking about this type of situation.
