Before a resident is accepted, they must go through a service plan screening to assure their needs are going to be met. This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as assistance with health services, physical assessment, recreational and social activities, and arrangements for visits by or to health care providers. Staff members obtain education in a number of areas. These areas include healthy lifestyles, food service, applicable state rules and regulations, and emergency procedures.
