The stairways aren't very attractive, the elevators could get cleaned more frequently. Most of the meals are very good. There are not a lot of activities in house. They have outings two days per week, plus church on Sundays. At American House, they put out a schedule once per month and put it on the door. There is a lot of space in the apartments. The cost for each level of care is a bit high.
My mother has been at Venice Green Village for over a year. It gives me peace if mind to know my mother is being well cared for. Her health has actually improved now that she's eating better and gets her medication at the proper times.
This community is very nice and very clean - they could use more help just like everyone, but all of the staff members are very nice and really try to be helpful.
