Recent reviews of Nursing Homes in Ashland City, TN
Cloverland Park in Brentwood, TN
4.3

Families should know that there is a high turnover rate at the executive level. Communicate by email to have a paper trail. The memory care staff is kind and caring, but not professional. Some of the white residents are racist to the Caregivers, and I wonder how long these workers will put up with it. I would recommend Cloverland Park, with the understanding of reasonable expectations of the facility and staff.

Complete guide to nursing homes

Ashland City, Tennessee

Nursing Homes

A nursing home is a complex that houses at least two persons who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. This type of residence provides its residents with around-the-clock care by registered nurses. These nurses provide health related services for seniors who cannot take care of themselves due to the effects of aging.

This type of facility is a familiar and comfy living option for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will commonly accept individuals 55 and greater which is for other senior care types. Many occupants of nursing homes may have behavioral problems. These can consist of a tendency to wander, verbal outbursts, or resisting care. Nursing homes are required to provide specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), room and bed maintenance services, medically-related social services, and pharmaceutical services to residents. Often times individuals may choose life in a nursing home due to a physical or mental impairment that prevents them from easily accomplishing their lifestyle goals. A significant amount of inhabitants are bachelors or widows with smaller social support groups, and almost 50% of nursing home residents are older than the age of 85. The most frequent mental issue experienced by nursing home residents is dementia, which can hinder their memory recall, and their sense of familiarity, and decision making capabilities.
