My loved one is currently a resident at Belmont Village Green Hills and is doing well, so far. She moved here from a different facility and Belmont has been a better fit for her as they have more hands on care- of course, we pay for it! But they have daily activities for mild dementia residents and she has also been playing bridge there. She has been taken off of her cancer drugs due to the side effects, but doing well so far.... I like the place a lot, it is very close to where I live so I can stop by frequently. It is crazy expensive, but they all are. It is clean and often decorated for seasonal activities. Mom can't hear well, and has speech aphasia, so activities are nearly impossible for her. She has hated almost all food since her stroke, so hard to say about the dining experience. Whatever I have eaten is fine. They seem to be able to retain people, there are several people who remember my mother in law who was an assisted living resident, and passed in 2017.

Response from Belmont Village Green Hills
June 19, 2024Thank you for leaving a review, and we’re glad to hear you like our Belmont Village Green Hills community. We take pride in the quality of our community, staff and the experiences we offer our valued residents. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions regarding your mom’s care.
Our mother never planned (or wanted) to have to leave her home of 55 years, but it was becoming more apparent that being alone and isolated in her home was no longer best for her. Belmont Village has more than exceeded our expectations. She truly feels at home in her beautiful new apartment. We were able to personalize it and make it feel as much like home as possible. The food is delicious! The Circle of Friends program provides cognitive challenge in a fun, small group environment. In addition, there is always a variety of fun activities happening for residents to choose from. The staff - at all levels - clearly care about the residents. Our mother is truly thriving at Belmont Village, and she will be the first to tell you how much she loves living in this community.

I am a nurse and in my line of work, I spend time in many assisted living facilities in the middle Tennessee area. When the time came for me and my sister to choose a new home for our mom, Belmont Village was hands-down our choice! Belmont Village provides our mom much more than a place to live. There are plenty of engaging activities to stimulate the mind as well as keep the physical body active. She enjoys the Circle of Friends program particularly. We feel a great sense of peace because we know there are plenty of knowledgeable, caring staff to look out for her daily needs when we are not present. We also love that Belmont Village is a friendly community where many of the residents look out for one another. We feel very blessed that our mom can call Belmont Village home!

When we were told that my father could no longer live alone, we had less than a week to find a place for him to live. We looked at four locations in Nashville and decided on Belmont Village. We liked the fact that he could stay there without having to move again as his mobility and health declined. The facility was clean, welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Their Community Relations Associate, [name removed], worked with us to find an apartment that fit into my father's budget, and went the extra mile by talking with us and doing paper work on her days off to help make the transition seamless. The main thing we were concerned with when choosing a place for my father was that his needs would be met, that he would be treated with dignity and that he would feel loved. Belmont Village did not disappoint. They not only made him feel like a part of the community, they embraced our whole family. I highly recommend Belmont Village.

Belmont Village is an excellent community and an asset to Seniors in Nashville. There is always one or more staff at the front door to greet you and monitor who is coming in. The Dining program is fantastic, I have seen seniors enjoying delicious meals. The activities and programs are top notch. Belmont Village has associations with area hospitals, offers additional programs for seniors and those with cognitive decline that are not offered at other communities. I have observed enthusiastic staff, wonderful musical programs, residents who are clean, being well taken care of, and being stimulated to thrive.

I'm just very grateful for help from A Place for Mom. All the offerings were good but things just clicked with Belmont Village. Thanks! We were very lucky they had a room when we needed it. We picked this community because of the ambiance, location and price. The memory care director is outstanding.

Our family had an in person tour with Belmont Village Green Hills and overall we thought the tour experience was great, but for our loved one we just liked another communities staff members energy better.
My loved one's only been there since [date removed], but another one of my family members [name removed] was there, and another loved one [name removed] was in the memory care unit before that. There were never any unpleasant surprises, and the staff was always super helpful, caring, and aware. Some people there now still remember them. For me, it felt like coming home, especially since I live so close.

It was a wonderful place, and I had a great experince with the person that I talked to. It was smaller views, and the room view was not as good. It's a place that I would live at. It's just a really nice facility.
I would recommend you read everything carefully before signing the documents. It is a nice community overall. There is a community fee in addition to a monthly fee each month. There are three meals a day served and there are choices for the residents to choose from. The staff pick up the laundry and wash the items for the residents. Some of the care available includes medication management, bathing, and dressing assistance.

Response from Belmont Village Green Hills
March 21, 2023Thank you for your review and feedback. If you have any questions, please contact our Executive Director.
The staff were all friendly and kept me well informed about my mother's situation. They do offer activities, although my mother did not participate. That was due to her dementia, not their offerings. She was initially in their Assisted Living care and every time I visited the room was very clean and smelled nice. Even after she moved to the Dementia area and cleanliness of all of the residents was a more challenging issue. The halls looked clean, and generally smelled clean and my mother's room was clean and her bedding was fresh. They made a point of making sure she wasn't cold and was comfortable. The food was probably pretty typical. About one step up from hospital food, but nutritious and nicely presented. I would definitely recommend a friend to check out Belmont as a good alternative for elder care.

Response from Belmont Village Green Hills
July 6, 2023Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family and for sharing your experience with us. We take pride in offering a positive experience for our residents and their families, and we appreciate your recommendation.
I liked Belmont Village Green Hills. The facility looked great. The activities looked great. It turned out they didn’t have a room available, so we ended up at a different place, where I actually prefer the circular layout for my loved one with memory issues. (Belmont Village has straight line hallways.) But all in all, it looked like a good option.
We have felt very welcomed, and the executive staff have listened very well to my concerns. They've mediated where they possibly could. The care is very good, but not as good as home care which is one-on-one, vs. assisted living where you have access to 100% care but you have to ask for it when you need it. Executive response has been very good. Caregiver response has been above average. And the facility itself is beautiful and very welcoming.

Response from Belmont Village Green Hills
April 1, 2022Thank you for taking time to review our Green Hills community. We’re happy to hear you’d recommend it to others, as our top priority is creating a safe and welcoming community for our residents. We think our staff is awesome, too.
The tour was adequate. I felt that it was not the best value for the money and it is in a congested area. It was just not the right fit for my brother.
Our tour at Belmont Village Green Hills was fine. It seemed very nice. The layout of building was a little unique, in a good way.
We had an excellent tour with Belmont Village Green Hills. All of the staff were very nice, the facility was clean, and they were responsive to all of our questions we had.
Belmont Village was a very nice facility and everybody was just great with my dad. We loved their memory care program they had here, it was a perfect fit for him. When hospice had to come in we had the best experience we could of with them as well. I would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

Our family had a virtual experience and they did not do that great of a job, they did not really take us around the community so we didn't get to see different rooms.
