I am very impressed with this center. It is beautiful with much to offer. The care is excellent. The nursing staff is wonderful. The aides do a great job and the activity director keeps it entertaining. The dining room is so elegant and the kitchen personal offer a fabulous menu to choose from. They allow pets so it’s so therapeutic for the residents.
It's roomy, many areas where residents can spend individual time or visit with other residents without being alone in their rooms all the time. Quality of food is very good. I think it is very homey.
Some staff definitely go above and beyond and give time and show they care to the individuals. The activities coordinator is great at keeping the individuals busy. The staff are why we chose this facility. My mom does not love the food, but her overall care is more important.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home facility provides room and board to two or more individuals who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. This type of residence provides its occupants with around-the-clock care by on-site nurses. These caregivers offer healthcare services for seniors who are unable to care for themselves.
Nursing homes are a convenient and easy living choice for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will frequently allow persons 55 and older which is uncommon for other senior care types. The most frequent mental condition effecting nursing home residents is dementia, which can cloud their and familiarity with their surroundings, memory recall, and decision making abilities. A large number of occupants tend to be single women with circles of support, and almost half of nursing home residents are older than the age of 85. Nursing homes are required to provide specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), a professionallly directed program of activities, pharmaceutical services, and dietary services to residents. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be free from abuse and neglect, form or participate in resident groups, be free from discrimination, and be free from restraints. Often times seniors may select to live in a nursing home due to a physical or mental disability that prevents them from easily accomplishing the activities of daily living.
