I would recommend if the person had severe dementia, they are very friendly the only complaint she has is that the food is not very good.
Since mom still pretty independent she is getting along great. They have been real nice. They helped her a little more at the assisted living so she was a little spoiled. Food is good. Clean They don't have my ch control but definitely could use a couple more aids, and maybe a kitchen helper. I would definitely recommend.
The facility is beautiful and very clean and Mom receives excellent care from the friendly staff. Mom is in a one bedroom and it's the perfect size for her, spacious but not so large that she has trouble getting from room to room. The amenities in the apartment are excellent including a full sized kitchen.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home community provides lodging to at least two individuals who have no personal ties to the administrator. This type of community offers its residents 24-hour care by registered nurses. These caregivers provide care for people who cannot care for their own needs.
Nursing homes are a convenient and comfortable living alternative for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will usually take in individuals 55 and older (a rarity in the realm of senior care). As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get proper medical care, get information on services and fees, spend time with visitors, and form or participate in resident groups. The most frequent mental issue experienced by residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can hinder their and their sense of familiarity, memory function, and decision making capabilities. Often times seniors may prefer to live in a nursing home over another type of community due to a physical or mental disability that prevents them from easily accomplishing their standard of living. There are some services that may come at a cost to residents which can include cosmetic and grooming items, specially prepared food, and special care services not included in the community’s Medicaid payment. Types of amenities and services provided at nursing homes might include rehabilitation needed due to injury, disability, or illness, adult day services , help with legal questions, and home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities).
