Types of care available in Salinas, CA
The is was a very good community for tracks my husband I brought there while we moved in from Boston to California, and I needed to have him be in a safe place, and that certainly was the case. So now it's important for him to be able to be back home again.
Whispering Pines Inn has devotedly served the San Benito County for over 26 years. The management & staffs are caring & very responsive to their elderly residents. Being a caregiver is not an easy task. You have to have the heary & compassion which I have seen with the employees as well ad the owners who are there even on weekends. They are hands on in all they do!
It’s a paradox. Staff and management are quite friendly. The staff is responsive to requests; management is not. Long-time residents report maintenance problems left unattended to for months or even years. They have grown accustomed to the lack of response. I asked four times for a connection to the free internet but got zero response. The Park Lane holds a monthly Maintenance Chat where residents can speak directly to the Maintenance Director. He promised a fast response (“probably tomorrow”) that never happened. In frustration, I ordered Comcast more than a week later. I find the food generally good. The delay between ordering a meal and its delivery is typically quite long.
