We all love the staff. The food is good, serving 3 square meals a day, Every Day. I would most definitely recommend this facility to others.
My sister has lived at Forest Hills in the Health Care Center for a while. Before the pandemic, they had wonderful activities as well as great nursing care. In the pandemic they have done an incredible job to keep everyone safe, to figure out ways to have safe activities and/or virtual or safe visitation zones (following CDC guidelines). The staff is working under challenging circumstances and they continue to be kind, patient and deliver high quality care. We are so very grateful my sister can live in such a great facility.
Victory Terrace Senior Apartments have been a wonderful experience so far for my mom. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful community with well-kept landscaping in a breathtaking neighborhood. My mom is an active 84 and this lifestyle suits her well. She still enjoys making her own meals. There is an abundance of activities that my mom enjoys participating in, giving her the opportunity to socialize and make new friends. She loves Movie Night every Saturday night, she enjoys getting her hair done weekly, and she takes advantage of the three exercise classes offered per week, all of which are tailored to seniors. They have a visiting podiatrist, a therapy room and a library for the residents to utilize. My mom still has her own car, but they also offer transportation for the residents to go shopping and other outside excursions. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.

If you want the peace of mind of having many of your frequent tasks managed by professionalls while living your life the way you desire, think about the option of independent living. Frequent needs such as meal planning and housekeeping are taken care of, allowing occupants more opportunities to live life as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers as desired. There are a variety of expenditures and advantages to balance while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in the plan: parking, laundry, field trips, internet access, housekeeping, move-in fee, initial assessment fee, and wellness program. The conveniences associated with independent living include security guards, healthcare center, game/TV room, restaurant-style dining hall, transportation, golf course, concierge services, and laundry service.
