Sommerset was chosen by a relative for me and after hearing stories of other retirement communities that were terrible and didn't offer half the activities Sommerset offers, this was the right choice. I am really pleased with the staff, the activities, and the effort that is made to make my permanent home as pleasant as possible. The food is plentiful and good.

I've lived here 6 years and have ben welcomed daily by name by the staff. It is a comfortable home with great menu/dining, activities of bingo/poker and many weekly music programs. The building is clean, well-kept, and feels like home. It's accommodating to disabled also.

A few years ago I was looking for a place to call home where I could be happy, feel safe, good food, a place where I can enjoy each moment. And guess what?? I found it all here at Sommerset, plus!! Happy happy joy joy!!

Menu's need to be changed so its not the same thing every week! Need a variety of different things. Pizza should be listed not just for lunch, but every other week. People are getting tired of the same thing every week. Change is what is needed. I am telling you like it is.

My mom moved into Sommerset in [date removed]. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and how attentive and helpful they have been. My mom has the meal option, and enjoys a several-course served meal each night of tasty food. She loves conversing with the other residents at her table. This has been a great independent living arrangement.

I moved in recently, coming from another community. Staff friendliness and going out of their way to be helpful has been great. My apartment needed a few minor items repaired before I moved in; they were done in 2 days!
