They are very attentive to my parents. They treat them like royalty. The staff is kind and very eager to please. It is always clean and smells good. The food is good it's not great. Sunday dinners has always been important to my mother and the staff is working on that issue of getting a good nice meal together for the family on sundays mom likes it to be a little fancy. They have lots of daily activities and they do need to engage them a little more to those. Mom loves anything with kids and music my kids play the grand piano they have. They have a full hair and nail salon here. And billards that my kids love as well. They keep fresh flowers around. It is so homey feeling and my dad is doing so much better mentally here. I would recommend this community to everyone.

Always room for improvement but they have been great so far! I went to the mother's day celebration and was surprised to see the facilities director, HR directors and other non kitchen staff working the brunch. They all knew all of the residents name and even gave them all gifts. They have been more accommodating than I would have expected and my mom loves it there. Tons of activities and they take her to all of her appointments which is a huge relief for me! Thanks to A Place for Mom for the recommendation.

I would say it's a decent facility, the dining room isn't managed well and they are inconsistent with taking care of service issues like toilet seats, lights etc

Complete guide to independent living

Murray, Utah

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home and the upkeep of the property might deter them from an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient solution to this situation. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies differ between communities, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private health care professionalls. There are an assortment of advantages and expenditures to balance while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are covered in your care plan: meals, initial assessment fee, Waiting list deposit, parking, field trips, laundry, housekeeping, and move-in fee.
