Independent Living
It's great - my family member loves it there. They've been very nice and treat her respectfully. She likes the people that she's met. We love the apartment - it's perfect for her. Really the only issue is her water pressure, which she's having a hard time getting them to fix.
The Country Oaks at Hamilton Creek facility is awesome. I can not think of a single complaint or area that needs improvement. Our loved one was hesitant to accept moving to assisted living, but within a month, she was telling her friends how nice it is there. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.
West Oaks is a small, friendly community with lots of outdoor space for walking my small dog and enjoying the wild deer herd. The location is ideal, very close to shopping, yet very open and very well cared for. The resident managers truly care about each resident in the community. Weekdays, breakfast and lunch are prepared on site by the managers and are served in the community dining room. Each meal is prepared with fresh ingredients and really delicious. Bottom line, I have zero regrets choosing to move to West Oaks.

Many seniors may be capable of living without assistance, but cost of owning a home might deter them from enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities provide a good remedy to this situation. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they wish, free from daily responsibilities. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of private medical professionalls, they always have the option. There are a variety of advantages and expenses to balance while choosing an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are covered in the service plan: Waiting list deposit, housekeeping, cable TV, move-in fee, internet access, field trips, parking, and utilities.
