The staff really seems to care, and the love that they give, seems to be amazing. The workers are very genuine. I would highly recommend.

Riva Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Leander, TX
5.0

My dad moved into Riva Ridge in March, just as covid19 restrictions began, so we haven't been able to visit him inside. At first we could visit on their lovely porch across the back of the building, but the government orders are well observed and we can no longer go there. The owner/manager (who lives with his family on the property) encouraged us to put a camera in his room, which we did. We've observed the staff take great care of our dad, always 2 people at a time, changing him, dressing him, transferring him with a lift to his wheelchair, combing his hair, brushing his teeth. For an assisted living place, he is getting way more routine care than he did at Cedar Pointe. He spends most of the day in the living room with the other residents. In the assisted living side, I believe there are 13 residents and it feels more like a home than any other place I've seen. There is also a memory care side. The bedding seems like it's changed daily, including the bedspread. When my dad started hanging his legs over one side of the bed at night, they put up rails on each side to prevent that. We couldn't be happier with where my dad is, especially at this crazy time of the corona virus. We feel so blessed to have gotten him there!
