Tiffin House

Outstanding people at Tiffin House that went beyond our expectations. My mom was there for about two months before passing. Wish she could have enjoyed the employees there longer. Mom was in a large house with 12 bedrooms for 12 Grandmas. They spend the day together in a large living room with several caregivers watching closely. The ladies sit together thru the day and dine together at the same table. The food is very good. The meals are cooked and prepared in the area adjacent to the living room. All the facilities are well maintained. The outside areas are also well maintained and a great area to take mom during your visits. Tiffin House includes medication supervision and they do an excellent job. Also, Tiffin has a great relation with all the Hospice care offered. We used Suncrest Healthcare and they were amazing. We highly recommend Tiffin House.

We moved my mother to Tiffin House after living in another community for over 5 years. The contrast is dramatic. The place itself is very homey and loving. At any time of the day there are people dropping in to visit their loved ones and there is always a smile for everyone. My mother is incredibly well-cared for and I no longer worry about her. I know she is in the best hands imaginable. The staff are wonderful, warm, and incredibly attentive. She could not live in a better place.

We transferred my Mom to Tiffin house about 6 months ago. We moved to this area and brought her with us. From the minute she came into the facility, the staff has been awesome. They truly care about their residents. We moved her from a nursing home in Illinois and the care that she gets at Tiffin House is so far superior to the care she was getting at the nursing home. My Mom is thriving there. The staff have become like her extended family. We were so worried about the move and how she would do. This has been the best move for her. We can't say enough good things about Tiffin House.

My mother lived her final 1 1/2 years at Tiffin House and I couldn't have chosen a better home for her when I was unable to continue care at home. The staff is compassionate & loving and well educated in senior care and dementia. My mom found peace here and so did I. The nursing staff was excellent in handling her meds and caregivers were sweet, patient and understanding. Mom was never alone and her every need was tended to. I was so blessed to have found this place and will forever be grateful to them. You can completely trust Tiffin House with your precious loved one like I did.

Tiffin House is Truly the Best Care Facility I could ever have hoped for my Mother. Every person on the staff was exceptionally helpful, kind to the family as well as the Residents. Nearly every time I walked in unannounced, I would see staff hugging, caring for, encouraging and showing KINDNESS towards the residents. The staff was always helpful with my mom's individual needs. They continually communicated with me and we were able to work well as a team to give Mom the Best Care. Home cooked meals were enjoyed by everyone sitting together around one table as a Family. There was always plenty of food, treats and snacks for the Residents. I cannot express in simple words my gratitude that I have for all the Family at The Tiffin House! They were THE BLESSING we needed to help us through caring for my mom struggling with Alzheimer's. THANK YOU Tiffin House. We are FOREVER GRATEFUL.

I have a parent at the Tiffin House. We feel very fortunate to have found the Tiffin House through exploring many homes. The Tiffin House was our number one choice and we are so grateful they had an opening available when we were ready to make the transition. The staff is supportive, welcoming, and friendly.

This is definitely a place where your loved one can thrive! My mom is 97 years old and has been living there since January. She is very happy and healthy! The staff are exceptional! They are truly caring and genuinely love all the residents. My mother was in and out of the hospital every couple of months before coming to Tiffin House and now she has not been back in the hospital in the last 5 months! Words cannot express how grateful we are for Tiffin House. We will recommend this facility to anyone needing a home for their parents or other family members.

What can I not say about Tiffin House! Everything was very positive! They showed love and compassion to our mom. They would call us when there were concerns about mom as well. The night of my mom’s passing a staff member came to Tiffin to give comfort to our family. I would recommend Tiffin House to anyone needing care for a loved one.

Tiffin has been a gift to my mom and our family. The physical structure of this facility is that of a home, not an institution. The beauty does not end there though. The entire staff treats the resident like family. From their effort to get to know her before she ever entered the door, to the tireless efforts in treating the difficult symptoms of Alzheimer’s, they honor not only our mom, but her family as well. Our mom has her own personal space and the community spaces inside and outside provide a sense of family and the beauty of nature for her to enjoy. They care for the whole person, caring for the person, not just the disease. We did our homework before coming to Tiffin. There is no other place like it. It has been a gift to us all in a hard season. We are so thankful.

Tiffin House helped my family in a pinch when we discovered not only that my father needed assisted living conditions but also he now had terminal cancer. This has to be the nicest facility and staff I have ever witnessed, heard about, researched, etc. The staff are good about hiding their wings as they are indeed angels in every sense. It gave our family comfort knowing he was cared for in his last days and had a smile on his face and was prepared for his final journey home.

Our journey down the road was difficult as we learned that my Mother-in-Law (Mother-in-Love) had Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. We knew we needed to move her closer to us and that she needed 24/7 care. From our first visit touring Tiffin House, the support began. They helped us navigate the transition and she has now been there about a year. I cannot say enough about how wonderful her care has been. Some of the problems we were having are now gone, she is on less medication for her ailments due to proper rest, excellent care, and a good diet. She has adjusted well to the change. The 'home' environment makes this very comfortable for both her and family visits. The staff is so friendly and loving and treats her so well. They joke with her and seem to truly enjoy her banter. I am so thankful for Tiffin House and know this place was an answer to prayer.

My mom is currently living at Tiffin House and has been there for almost a year. It has been the very best year of care that we have ever received. I know people give good reviews, but I cannot even begin to tell you the wonderful care and love that is given to my mom each and every day. This is not our first facility, so I have a little experience and can tell you - it is the very best. Justin is the most caring and kind individual to my mom. I thank them so often for the opportunity to be able to have the peace of mind knowing my mom is so cared for and loved. It is a wonderful home not a facility and you will feel it from the first moment you walk in and realize they treat each person like family and have included us as well.

Excellent place for your love one! Wonderful caring professionals, who know the residents well because they interact with them on a personal basis. At Tiffin House, you are family and this is your home. The medical, physical, and emotional care has been outstanding. I highly recommend Tiffin House.

Our mom has been at Tiffin for the last year and a half and it has given my dad and our family real peace of mind. He and my sister are close by and can visit frequently which is great. Tiffin is like a home with separate bedrooms, a big family room, kitchen and dining room and lovely outdoor space. The staff is wonderful, including Uyen the head nurse, the activities director and the aides. The turnover among the aides is not as high as you might expect and they are so good to my mom and the other ladies. I really believe the residents are treated with respect. As Uyen told me, "they try to meet them where they are"--and do not get frustrated by what they can not do or remember anymore.

My mom became a Tiffin House resident after my dad passed away. Mom told us she’d never won anything before! Mom seems happier at Tiffin House than she has in a while. The Tiffin House staff really understand mom’s disease and she is treated with love and respect. In addition to assisting mom with all aspects of her daily routine, they make sure her hair and makeup are done every day so she looks pretty. We’d mentioned mom like the outdoors so the staff pushes her wheel chair outside around the beautiful grounds. (Weather permitting). Although mom is in hospice and sleeps a lot, she is always up and dressed during the day and encouraged to participate in activities if she is able. The staff at Tiffin House is making the twilight of mom’s life as rich as possible in light of her disease. We wish we found them sooner. Words cannot express how grateful my siblings and I are for Tiffin House and their fantastic staff. I have seen the wonderful group at Tiffin House committed to nurturing the residents at each of my weekly visits to see my grandmother. I observe a compassionate and enriching culture while visiting in the quiet parlor room or enjoying the back patio. Our family loved the rooms at Tiffin and we were able to fix her room to fit the look and feel of her home. Tiffin House staff and owners appear focused on the social and emotional well-being of each resident. This atmosphere is where dormant abilities are brought to life and where they share such special times together. The event coordinator keeps things fun. Our grandmother loves the upper body exercise playing with a balloon. I receive wonderful pictures of my loved one frequently, each time I am thrilled to see her smile and interaction with staff. I am a nurse and have worked in the medical field for over 25 years. The nurse staff at Tiffin House are prompt to report any concerns and take action immediately. This is VERY rare compared to other facilities. Tiffin House staff works together for the good of everybody in a supportive environment and I love seeing a sparkle in everyone’s eyes when I visit. Our family feels extremely blessed to have our beautiful, fun-loving Matriarch reside at Tiffin House.

Sometime in life we get beautiful roses to make the thorns easier to deal with. This is how I would describe my incredible good fortune to have found and selected Tiffin House to care for my wife, a victim of dementia. I had cared for her for nearly six years at home with some respite help. She stayed for two months at another memory care facility during this period while I recovered from surgery and we found her care to be sub-standard. So when the daily responsibilities of caregiver finally overwhelmed me, I was terrified of the prospects of finding a facility that I could trust with care. After searching the web, Tiffin House became one of my top-rated selection. I was impressed with the staff/resident ratio, the home-like facility, no a la carte charges, organized activities including activities outdoors and a staff that interacts with the residents on a personal basis. Mt deepest thanks to [Removed] and others; plus the supervisory skills of [Removed] for their personal attention to my wife. They make being there fun! A visit to Tiffin House will show the excellent professional and loving care that I have witnessed during every visit. My wife has been in residence for more than a year and is currently in hospice care. The Tiffin staff works smoothly in conjunction with hospice staff in planning and executing her care. I can tell that my life is happy. She smiles when hearing or seeing the caregivers. My family and I highly recommend Tiffin House.

My dad, who has Alzheimer’s and lives in the moment, has lived at Tiffin house since October. The other day we took him out for lunch. As we were driving him back he asked us if he was going home. He meant Tiffin House! That is what it is – a home. It looks and feels like a home! He said I get to do whatever I want here and it is so peaceful and caring here. Dad loves his favorite chair, the front and back yards, the beautiful porch, and the familiar home decorations for his generation like the antique pictures of farms and children and animals. As dad walks through the hallways he looks at each painting and describes the story in it. [Removed] is driven by his love for the residents and his passion for excellent care. It sounds corny, but corny, but when you meet him and [Removed] and everyone (RNs, caregivers, activity director, quality care director, etc, etc) you know it right away! They are always coming to me all excited about something they got for dad or a funny movie he enjoyed, or just sharing a special time in his life that day. They read him his devotions he loves every day, provide him with opportunities to do what he loves like watering the plants, watching birds, walking outside, singing, reading the newspaper, going to the store and just visiting and laughing with his buddies. Bottom line, they love him like he is their own dad and he knows it – and I know it! After these 5 months I am still amazed at how wonderful Tiffin House and this awesome family of caring people are for dad!
