The staff really seems to care, and the love that they give, seems to be amazing. The workers are very genuine. I would highly recommend.

I’m a volunteer there with 25 years of army and private Emt experience. Iv also worked in many emergency departments. Iv worked in nursing homes. With my experience I could work anywhere I choose. I’m 65 years old with medical problems so I chose to volunteer at precious nursing home and love the staff and the owners. They take great care of the people medically and personally. They cook 3 good meals a day and make sure the patients get to there Dr appointments. If I needed to live in a nursing home I would live there.

This place website is absolutely misleading. There is no activities nor transportation. The only option is lay in bed, eat a rationed meal, or smoke on small concrete patio for those that smoke. Cigarettes butts are all over the small patio, cushions are stained and there is no rail to assist an elderly to go outside. Rooms are small. Furnitures are mismatched, mattress quality is either a cot or air mattress. The rooms are dark, vents are dusty, with the bare minimum. Communication with family members is sporadically as manager often gets irritate with questions. We fell in this trap due to a reference from a gentleman that works as liaison between rehabilitation facilities and this place. His description led us to believe it was a caring place where our loved one would thrive. Most like he works as a team with the manager to take advantage of family's vulnerability dealing w. aging issues. Reality is there is absolutely no quality of life here. Places like this should not exist.

Response from Precious Assisted Living Home
January 28, 2022Thanks for the rating. The reviewer is an ex-wife to the resident and according to HIPPA, I wasn't able to report to her as she intended. She has no power of attorney. I am not surprised that she will write such to tarnish the facility. Thanks Rita Uzomba
My mother has dementia but seems very happy in this facility. The facility has a capacity of aprox 10 so all residents get good attention and care. The facility is clean and the staff is very responsive.

My Dad passed away and I'm so thankful that his last season was filled with the love that you and your staff gave him. He could not have been in a better place.

A Place for Mom has scored Precious Assisted Living Home 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
