Heritage Hills is an extremely warm and inviting community with friendly and engaging residents. Many opportunities to find your individual nitch and feel embraced. A chef prepared daily meal is an additional bonus.

College Walk Retirement Ctr in Brevard, NC

This community does offer a lot of activities and amenities. This feels like an upscale community. They have a formal dining room where the wait staff take your order and then bring the meal to you. They offer computers for the residents to use. The staff were friendly and helpful. This community is higher in price. I would recommend taking a look at this community.

Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee, GA

I have visited this community many times while visiting my friends. I love the option of starting on their Independent Living and when/if I need more assistance, I can move down to their Assisted Living. The staff has always been professional and pleasant. My friends love where they live and I can't wait till I join them there!

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community permits residents the choice to live active lives while assuring their fundamental needs have been fulfilled. While policies differ between communities, many residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent medical professionalls, they always have the option. There are an assortment of expenditures and advantages to keep in mind when choosing an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in the service plan: wellness program, cable TV, utilities, Waiting list deposit, laundry, internet access, meals, and transportation. The conveniences that pertain to independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, laundry service, golf course, concierge services, transportation, security guards, beauty salon & barber shop, and restaurant-style dining hall.
