Independent Living
The place is very clean, and very very beautiful. Everybody here is very nice. Once person after another takes care of each other. The people are very caring and make newcomers feel welcome. It's a great place to live. They have security guards, which makes me feel very safe. We have washers and dryers in our apartments. And they're a very pet friendly community. Every time you come in they give your dog a treat. They love dogs here. One area for improvement is the food needs upgrading. I've had a few really good meals. But in general, they've cut the kitchen budget. So they're not using name brand or quality ingredients. For instance, when you have cold meat, they get the cheapest on the market. It's very salty, and just not any good. They don't use the top stuff in general, and that's the problem. I think the cost is expensive, but overall it's a good value.
This community does offer a lot of activities and amenities. This feels like an upscale community. They have a formal dining room where the wait staff take your order and then bring the meal to you. They offer computers for the residents to use. The staff were friendly and helpful. This community is higher in price. I would recommend taking a look at this community.
I have visited this community many times while visiting my friends. I love the option of starting on their Independent Living and when/if I need more assistance, I can move down to their Assisted Living. The staff has always been professional and pleasant. My friends love where they live and I can't wait till I join them there!

Independent living offers a stress-free lifestyle for older adults. Independent living communities don’t provide personal care or supervision, but do offer generally healthy adults opportunities for socialization and hassle-free living. Independent living services often include:
Independent Living Communities offer seniors a nice equilibrium between an opportunity to live an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with the maintenance of basic tasks and chores. You or your loved one may continue to use their free time as they see fit while their meals are prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and recreational activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers if desired. There are a number of expenditures and advantages to consider when determining an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are covered in the care plan: laundry, wellness program, utilities, cable TV, transportation, move-in fee, internet access, and housekeeping. The conveniences associated with independent living include transportation, healthcare center, community activities, golf course, fitness center & swimming pool, restaurant-style dining hall, beauty salon & barber shop, and game/TV room.
