We have no problem with the community, they people there are very nice. Our only issues would be the communication regarding our loved one. Sometimes it is hard to get information and updates but we think that could be because of covid. We would definitely recommend this community to others.

Bailey Pointe at Miracle Hills in Omaha, NE
5.0 / 5.0

We've utilized The Waterford for respite stays, and we loved it. We would have put my loved one there long-term except they don't have memory care. Even though the building is old, the people were so nice. The care was great. And the food was good.

Via Christe Assisted Living and Memory Care in Omaha, NE
5.0 / 5.0

Our mother has only been at Via Christe for a week and a half but it has been a wonderful experience so far! {name removed} worked with us and moms doctor to sort out medications. Mom loves her room and has started to participate in the daily activities. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. Its a community environment that is great for seniors. Highly recommend!

Complete guide to independent living

Bellevue, Nebraska

Independent Living

If you want the convenience of having housekeeping and chores handled by professionalls while living your life at your own pace, think about the option of independent living. You or your loved one can continue to live their lives as they desire while their meals are prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and recreational activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies differ between locations, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing care is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private care providers. There are an assortment of costs and benefits to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in your care plan: internet access, laundry, initial assessment fee, field trips, wellness program, private phone, housekeeping, and Waiting list deposit. The luxuries associated with independent living include private rental hall, security guards, community activities, fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, healthcare center, game/TV room, and golf course.
