We took her there when it was under the previous management. The cost was good and we liked that facility. But when it got taken over, it lost a lot of the good qualities. That's when we moved her to a different facility

While my mothers stay meds were not passed til noon as 1 med tech present for all clients. My mother was also helping a friend ( another resident ) CHANGE her dressing on a weekend. No one able to help on a weekend. That client had to go to the hospital needing antibiotics due to worsening ( lack of medical staff checking the wound. I would not recommend this facility to anyone . One evening a med tech brought her small child to work and passed meds with her child in a stroller. Said She didn't have anyone to watch her child and would be terminated if she didn't come to work.

It was a bit better when it was Waterford but it started going downhill when they changed hands. Some of the staff is excellent, but many of the good ones have left. The ones who stayed are only there because they love the residents and are trying to keep their spirits up. The new people also don't take care of the workers like they should. That's why many of them left. The food was never very good. Almost half the rooms are empty since the new owners came. I guess that would tell you a lot. They are hiring some new people who seem good, but the question is if they will stay or not. We felt the need to get out of there in case they crashed.

May 10, 2023Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We strive to provide residents with a high standard of living and inclusive amenities, in line with our Resident First approach. To learn more about your experience, we invite you to reach out to Regional Director of Operations Tara Gabel at (817) 733-3763.
They are going through a transition. Sometimes there is no protein served with the meals, and they serve smaller portions. They don't have fresh fruits. They have a large turnover in staff. They only do laundry, once every two weeks. The staff has been pleasant. They don't have an activities director but they do have Bingo.

We've utilized The Waterford for respite stays, and we loved it. We would have put my loved one there long-term except they don't have memory care. Even though the building is old, the people were so nice. The care was great. And the food was good.

The internal communication and response time could be improved, however our loved one is very happy with the meals and dining service and all the activities that are offered. The Waterford is also pet friendly which was a huge thing for us.

We were very happy with Waterford, we pretty much had a good experience. They were very caring and friendly, and we would recommend this community to others.
I wouldn't be against recommending someone go there. I think they are overpriced for what they do. I believe they are short staffed. Sometimes the food isn't as good as what my loved one expects. They are willing to accommodate dietary restrictions.

We chose The Waterford at Miracle Hills at the time because they told us that they had a doctor on site. My mom was moving and we did not want to have to switch and find a new one and they told us that she could just use this one and make it easier. We were happy with the size of the room size that she had. Communication overall was not good. I would call and ask for people to return my phone calls and it never got done. Communication between the director and the nursing staff was not great either, so that was the biggest downfall. It was a great facility compared to some that we saw and I would recommend to others who are looking. I would just caution others about the communication issues.

We chose The Waterford At Miracle Hills because during our tour we talked a lot to the staff members and liked them. It also seemed very clean and it seemed like it would be a good fit. The room sizes here are pretty large and spacious, they are in a two bedroom but even the one bedrooms were larger than some of the ones we saw. The food is something they think they could improve on, they have had a lot of turnover with the head chefs. The best part about the community so far has been the care and overall attitude of the staff members.

I think it is affordable care. The staff is extremely nice. They give individualized care and have individualized care plans for the residents The room sizes and the layout of the community are really good. The food is good. They have outdoor space for the residents to use.

During my Mom's stay, one or more of the staff members stole her toilet paper during the times the facility was on lockdown for the flu season and Corona virus outbreak. We were promised it would be replaced, but it wasn't. Also, during her move out, some of the staff were very rude. But other than those incidents, it's a good place.

Place is small & modest, but seems well-thought-out; central courtyard is peaceful & well-landscaped, but building is hemmed-in by city clamor & isolated by it. Excellent lunch!
