We have no problem with the community, they people there are very nice. Our only issues would be the communication regarding our loved one. Sometimes it is hard to get information and updates but we think that could be because of covid. We would definitely recommend this community to others.

Bailey Pointe at Miracle Hills in Omaha, NE

We've utilized The Waterford for respite stays, and we loved it. We would have put my loved one there long-term except they don't have memory care. Even though the building is old, the people were so nice. The care was great. And the food was good.

Our mother has only been at Via Christe for a week and a half but it has been a wonderful experience so far! {name removed} worked with us and moms doctor to sort out medications. Mom loves her room and has started to participate in the daily activities. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. Its a community environment that is great for seniors. Highly recommend!

Plattsmouth, Nebraska

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community permits residents the chance to continue to live an independent lifestyle while assuring their care requirements are being fulfilled. Basic tasks such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they choose, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of private health care providers, they always have the option. There are an assortment of benefits and expenses to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in the service plan: laundry, meals, field trips, internet access, Waiting list deposit, utilities, cable TV, and initial assessment fee. The amenities that pertain to independent living include golf course, game/TV room, private rental hall, laundry service, security guards, transportation, concierge services, and community activities.
