My wife and I are very pleased with the place. We like the location, it is near a park, a fire station for emergencies and the other residents are friendly. I should add that the facility has been sold to a different company so there might be upcoming changes that I don't know about yet... Read more

Very nice upkeep on lawn and sidewalks. The hallways and common areas kept clean and free of obstacles. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. When it comes to the activities they have a nice selection of activities to choose from, including group and individual activities . For the value for cost it is very reasonable price compared to other options. We have already recommended this community to others and will continue to do so.

It has been a wonderful experience so far, it is really easily accessible to places in Bellevue and I really like how maintenance helps you with things around the apartment. Most of the residents here are very friendly. There is a community center with different activities and an exercise room with a bunch of different equipment. They also have a library here and I believe even someone that comes by to set up a beauty ship. Based on the experience so far I would recommend them to other families.

We've had a positive experience so far. It was a very difficult time getting my loved one situated and figuring out what we we going to do. But Tregaron was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. The move-in process was very smooth. The residents have been very accepting and willing to include her as she's moved in and to make her feel comfortable. Tregaron offers a monthly brunch for everyone, as well as opportunities for activities. The apartment is just the right size for her. And we have not seen any sort of issues. It's been clean, and maintenance has been responsive.

I would recommend you keep looking at other communities. The staff hasn't seemed to be as friendly. I feel they got us in the door, and they haven't been able to fulfill our expectations on what they had promised.

They have a lot of rules for the residents who live here. Such as you cant be outside the door and talk at 10 at night or everyone complains. Activities are geared more towards people who are 80 and up. I do not think it it what they call an over 55+ active community, it is more for people who are not active.

I've got a little bit of mixed feelings. It depends on the person and what you're looking for. There's a few things I don't have here that I wish I did. I have two cats, and it would be nice to have a balcony or patio for them. There's a lot of dogs here too, which is a drawback for me. I really don't know anyone too much. I have experienced some older women who are gossipers and tend to cause trouble. So I just try to avoid them. Activities have been mostly shut down due to the virus. But right now they offer shuttle van trips to the store. The office says they're planning on opening up more, and will bring back things like pot lucks and bingo. It will happen, it'll just take time. l have a 2-bedroom apartment, and I'd say it's reasonably priced. Starting next week I'm going to be getting some home health care, which should make things better for me. A lot of what I'm going through isn't necessarily a reflection on Tregaron. I feel like the office staff have worked with me given some distant issues in my past.

I was a visitor to one of the residents in the first building and I had went to the office for some assistance and they're blatantly not involved with hearing the public or assisting with any issues or understanding of issues. I was trying to contact the management and the first time the receptionist was pleasant but strictly given orders obviously not to discuss or answer any questions. And the second day when I called I was greeted by a friendly young lady named [name removed] but as soon as I had started to explain the situation I was handed over to a very rude lady named [name removed] who couldn't have cared what concerns or issues that I was prepared to share. Giving such a close door slammed in my face I had to go to the web page and request for the owner to contact me and as of now I'm still waiting today but it's only been one day for his or her to respond. Looking forward to speaking with them immensely; hoping that their other employees does not reflect their procedures and protocol. Best regards [name removed]

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. One lady was without hot water for 12 days because they ordered a part. She asked them about a new one & was told NO. She asked where she could stay & was told a motel & she'd have to pay for it herself. When the tornado can thru the emergency light turned off before 1:30 am. The fire alarm kept ringing enough to drive you crazy. Not sure when the manager or assistant arrived to check on the residents. A family member called about a resident & was told they didn't check on residents as they weren't an assisted living facility. One gentleman was on O2 & another resident checked on him. He was trying to save it so he'd stop for a while-gasping for air & then would take so breaths. She made the decide to call for an ambulance to get him help. The activities were a joke. There was a click that ran what was going to happen in community room. The management people didn't care. They just wanted to collect their money. One employee took things that were meant for the residents. Her answer was "I was told I can take anything I want." There were so many unhappy campers & you couldn't talk to certain people or it would cause problems for you. So many couldn't get out of there due to their finances. They also move a new person who had bed bugs. It was in the three story apartment building. It caused a lot anxiety for all 3 building. They have a new management company. I don't believe there will be much improvement. Don't go there!

A Place for Mom has scored Tregaron Senior Residences 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
