I had my tour scheduled around lunch time and I was taken back to a home feeling from the amazing smell of the food being prepared. The facility was clean, decorated and the privacy of the courtyard is reassuring. Everyone was very pleasant to speak with, also.

We toured this community. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. However, the follow-up was overwhelming and added to the stress and anxiety we had trying to figure out where our loved one could go.

Overall we are having a better experience at Brookdale then the previous community our loved ones were at. We appreciate everything that is here, our loved ones care needs are being met and we are happy. The meals are going pretty well so far, and when we do come to visit we see activities being offered. We also think the value for cost is fair.

Upon first arriving I thought maybe I had a mistake in adding this building to my visitation list. The building structure itself was not outstanding, however, it was what I observed inside that made me add Brookdale to the bring my mom to visit to get her input. The staff was smiling and engaging with the residents. There was activities going on and the resident seemed to be enjoying as they were laughing and cracking jokes. The rooms were sufficient to meet my moms needs. She could have a microwave and mini refrigerator for her late night snacks.

The price they offer upfront will not be your price for very long. They have a lot of add on charges. The layout of the community and room sizes are good. The care staff was good. We had a few issues with the administrative staff. They had out door space for the residents to use.

[Name removed]is warm and welcoming. She asked good questions about my husband and also how I am doing. The facility is small and appears to be very clean. There is a small number of residents which enables staff to get to know every resident. I spoke with one resident who seemed to be very happy and active.

We were greeted and welcomed by several people. The chef brought cupcakes to try, offered coffee and other drinks and my father in law was given cashews (his favorite) and cookies. They assisted him to see what needs he would have and cost so we would know before we left. We toured and had a meal. I was very impressed and really liked it. The cost is very reasonable with other places.

Communication with the staff is very good. Their responses to our questions come in a timely manner. All staff members, or most all, know even our names. It is all definitely a family at Brookdale.

I can't vouch for the care or activities. But when I sampled lunch they brought me a salad with brown lettuce. The furniture and carpet was old. It certainly isn't worth what they charge.

Tour was good. It is a smaller community in which I believe my mother would have liked. The units are small. The two studio alternatives did not have kitchenettes. Just not the right fit for my mom.

I really liked this community when we toured it. The biggest factor that we were looking at was the location it had to be close to where I live. My husband is doing very well here he seems to be settling in well and is happy. Even though he says he is not doing things here the staff tells me he is very busy. He is making friends. The food is very good from what I am told. I would recommend this community.

Do not call home office if you want anyone to answer your questions. All they want to know is how much money they can get from you. Call or visit local facility for GOOD information on what's available.

My love one is doing well since her move to this community. I do feel she safe, and in good hands. The staff is good, and they have been friendly when I visit. Also helpful when needed. The community, and her room are well-kept. She is pleased with the meals, and they offer nice activities for the residents. Everything has worked out well for us in this community, and it is a facility I would recommend.

I had a nice tour of this community. Everything went well, and everyone was kind. The staff was polite, and my questions. From what I saw the community looked nice, and everything was clean. The experience went well, but this wasn't the community for my mother.

My tour of this community was not a good one. When I first arrived the person I was suppose to take the tour with, was not there. So someone else gave me the tour. If this is how they treat they visitors, then I can only imagine how they treat they residents. I was not impressed, and really wasn't very interested in this community.

Very impressed with facility, services offered and staff. Thought rates were reasonable. Reached out to Facebook friends to see if any had experience with Brookdale. A couple did and said Brookdale was awesome. Have a couple other communities to tour and Brookdale is going to be our benchmark for comparison.

I wasn't very impressed with my tour of this community. From what I saw the offices of the community look better than the rooms. The rooms I saw did not look very nice. There was a bad odor that lingered around the community. It wasn't a community I would had felt comfortable with placing my mother in.
