If you looking for a safe place for your loved Mom or Dad and do not want to worry while they are being cared for. Parsons House Frisco is the place to take them. My mom lived there for 9 years after she had her stroke they gave her a 2 year life expectancy but I believe it was because she was sooo happy and well taken care of at Parsons House Frisco is the reason why she stayed with us so much longer. She loved the food and she was a fabulous cook. She loved going out on the Activities [Removed] is wonderful in keeping them all entertained. They go see Christmas lights and to the Casino and out to lunch a lot. Dallas Blooms...etc... As well as outings of all sorts to local stores and activities doing on in town. [Removed] Executive Director is awesome and attentive to all of your requests and suggestions and [Removed] Marketing Director is very wonderful as well making sure you have what you need in your little apartment. I just can't say enough about all of them. The 3 room apartment is just like home we actually brought her chandelier there from the house. She finally died at 89 of old age. We were soo blessed to have her soo long and we attest it to where she lived and was being taken care of. The careworkers are awesome and treated her like her own family member. She actually would want to go back there are 45min when she was visiting me at my house I knew she was happy then. I hope that this has helped someone make a very difficult decision. Make Parsons House Frisco your first and last stop I assure you won't be disappointed. May God Bless You! [Removed].

I can't say enough great things about this facility. My Mom is so picky and everything has gone well. The one bedroom is plenty large even for a large walker and wheelchair. It is more like a nice hotel than any of the other 5 facilities I visited. [Removed] is amazing! I don't know how she juggles everything on the management end. All the staff is friendly and genuine. So happy they have a wheel chair van and outings. Medical professionals come there, and they have religious services provided too. The afternoon music in the atrium is wonderful! We feel so blessed to have found "The Lodge" as Mom calls it.

Beautiful facility, and resident rooms have much nicer finish out than many other places. I took a tour with Tabatha, and she was helpful, knowledgeable and good at communicating everything I needed to know.

I toured this community. I did like the staff who were caring and friendly. I saw that they had a good menu and the residents seemed to enjoy the dining. They have activities. The community was well taken care of and enjoyable. I think families might want to tour the community to see if this is what they are looking for when it comes to value.

I toured this community for my loved one and her needs. My tour well, and everyone was very kind and courteous. The community looked clean, and neat. The staff was kind and friendly. It was a pleasant experience, and this is a nice community. It just wasn't the one for us.

The meals are awesome. They offer a salad bar and a soup bar which gives the residents a healthy option. The staff is wonderful about answering questions and making my loved one feel comfortable. The only thing that did not work at this community is that the building is a bit old, and did not offer courtyard for dog. I would recommend this community.

This place promises much but isn't able to deliver. The Lodge does have a great assortment of activities throughout the day but it stops early. My parent is not one to go to bed at 6 or 7 pm but the place is shut down and quiet. They will ask the residents to join in a time or two but are not diligent or encouraging. My parent is left sitting in their room a majority of the day. I've been there when activities are going on but no one stops by to invite them. The food is adequate but portions are small for those with healthy appetites. The office staff and caregivers are very friendly (when you seek them out) and helpful but the follow-through is lacking. We have yet to see anything related to housekeeping other than changing sheets. We are looking for other facilities.

Things are going great at this facility. The staff is very professional and friendly and the facility itself is nice. So far, I do not have any complaints about the Lodge at Quail Park. Overall, this has been a good experience

They have been very quick in their responsiveness. If I have an issue they are on it immediately and have been wonderful about that. They are so thorough in their care of my loved one that I am beyond impressed.

I am not sure if it is HIPAA related or what but there is so much paperwork at The Lodge at Quail Park. When you apply there it is all paper based. If they had anything electronic that would really help. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. They do need more medical staff. The ratio of the care giving staff is fine. But they need more medical technicians.

It was an excellent experience at The Lodge on Preston Ridge. The only area I can think of where they might can improve would be the food. It's not terrible but could definitely be better. Other than that everything is great. It is a very nice clean place with excellent friendly helpful caring staff.

This is a good facility for Independent living. The staff is very friendly, the food is good, the common areas are clean, and there are lots of activities. However this is not the place for people to go if they need assistance. We have had several issues that haven't been resolved in over a year concerning special dietary needs and hygiene for my parents who need assistance. The staff has been very pleasant and agreed that the issues need to be corrected based on my parents contract, care plan and doctor's orders but they are ineffective getting the job done. I don't know whether it's because the staff is untrained, or whether they are understaffed, or maybe the staff is not supervised well.

I like the atmosphere of the place. It is very inviting. The entry area is very homey looking. It's open and tastefully decorated. It doesn't look overbearing. When you walk in you feel very comfortable. They can improve on communication with the caregivers. When I ask for some things to be done and try to follow up, the information isn't always transmitted to all of the caregivers. The location works for us; my dad and my sibling and I don't live near each other. They have alot of outside activities but my mom doesn't really take part in them. They need more game type indoor activities, besides dominoes. I would like to have names and phone numbers of people who are caring for her, so that I can get information more immediately. Some caregivers come in. She gets care, but I have trouble getting information.

This is a simple and sweet facility. Residents were conversing and interacting in the central area. It is a bit smaller in scale than some of the others I have visited and that lends to residents getting to know one another. Maybe not the best solution for a single Memory Care resident, but they could handle it with Wander Lost (sp?). It had a calm, but lively feel. Not too pretentious yet still a nice homey place.

If you are looking for a safe highly qualified loving and caring place to put your beloved family member, look no further. before she passed away. She had her stroke 11 years My mom lived at The Lodge at Preston Ridge for 6 years ago so we were very blessed to have had her soo long. We feel that is was because of the care nursing, aids, and the fact that she was so happy there is why we had her soo long. She was very happy there. I asked her if she wanted to back to her home after she had been there a month and she said no that house is too big. Music to our ears. She was a great cook and loved the food. She didn't want to leave her 2500 sq foot house and we took everything from there and miniaturized it. With the 4 rooms provided. Chandelier in the kitchen. Her bedroom set and couch, pictures and knick naks in the living room. She didn't feel like she left home and she wasn't alone so we didn't worry about her falling out of bed anymore running over to the house at all hours of the night to see if she was ok after she didn't answer the phone. For the first time in 6 years my sister and I slept peacefully and we came to visit he and she was happy. There are outside activities they just went to the casino a couple of weeks ago and to he movies. The holidays are very festive the lodge is decorated better than my house. They have all kinds of art and activities. Movie night etc.. The lodge goes out of their way to make their residents and families feel comfortable. They care and listen to what you have to say. Thoughts and ideas. So if this can be of help in anyway making your decision for your loved one let the lodge be your last stop. Not to mention they were voted Number 1 for several years and are the least expensive in town.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for our loved one. We really liked the look of this one, however it wasn't quite what we were looking for carewise. Our loved one wasn't to the point where she needed any assistance, and they didn't have any independent living options. The gal who gave us the tour was great, though, very helpful and friendly!
