The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens

It's a very good facility! They're always helpful! My brother seems to like the food! They communicate everything.

My father is happy, and that's honestly the only thing I care about. They've been wonderful to him! Most of the staff has been great. He doesn't complain and eats everything!

I like the place. Sometimes the food is not good. After I spoke to them about the meals not being good they seemed to be more on it. I don't think they have all the information, but I have only met with a few people.

Overall, it was good but it was hard to get a hold of the doctor.

It's hard to get information when you visit on weekends.

I think the place is immaculately clean. They all seem very nice. Compared to other places she's been in I just really like this place. My mother's been telling me that she has to wait a long time sometimes for someone to come and help her. I've seen the meals and they're gross. I don't think the communication has been so great.

They are very nice and they explain things. They could use more help. I do not have a problem with them at all. The rehab is good and he was there two years ago and that is why we picked it. All of the staff is good. The food could improve and they are working on that. I have not met with the doctor except the day he came there. If I ask the nurse, social worker or dietitian they all communicate well.

The place is nice but the facility itself is kind of small. The nursing care is good. The cleanliness is good.

The meals have been a struggle. The meals are never hot when they arrive. We were not given a lot of direction at all. I thought maybe we would be given an orientation but we were not throughout the stay.

Overall, it was a good experience!

They were able to provide my father with great care as far as his recovery. I would say they are understaffed at certain times. Overall they're pretty good across the board. It's a relatively clean facility. The beds are made every morning and the trash is taken out every day. They relay updates as soon as possible usually.

My loved one was there last year and everyone was wonderful. My mom isn't complaining about the meals. I haven't heard much communication yet.

The people are nice but I am not getting info from the doctors. My brother is very happy with them. The place is nice and it is lovely and clean. I get transferred to different people and there is no one by phone after 5 pm. They are very nice to my brother. I would like to have another family member there. He likes it and that is important to us. Everyone is nice and polite when I go there.

Their rehab is great, the location and accessibility with public transportation is great, it's not as daunting as a larger facility. The nurses have unacceptable tones with patients. The admissions team has been responsive, have been good. They helped me even before she got there with who to talk to and how to navigate everything. It's not a resort, but there is a degree of warmth with how it presents itself. The meals are decent.

I am really impressed and my mother is very happy. They immediately started giving her therapy and it is incredible. Even on the first day, they immediately told me what was going on and have kept me informed. She says that the staff is very attentive, the nursing care is good and they keep up with the cleanliness. I told them the other day that my mother doesn't eat a specific food and they said: "Don't worry we will find something else for her."

The services and the care were good and my loved one enjoyed the activities. The staff was nice and friendly, the meals looked really good and it was clean. The nurses were good but it took a long time to get what I asked for.

The Grand has been fantastic for my Aunt! So far I have been impressed with everything including the therapy team. The nurses have been excellent and I met with the RN supervisor while I was visiting and she was outstanding. Even my aunt says they are all friendly so that means they are very good because she can be hard to please. It is extremely clean. I just had a meeting with the staff and it was really good and they have been extra good at communication. They really care about the patients as well as doing a good job making sure the family is in the loop. It has been great. Of course, she has complained because they are making her work hard and given her condition this can be challenging for her but I think they are doing a great job. She does not like the food but she is on a diet restriction.

My loved one is getting good care and the staff is looking after him. He is getting good meals and the nurses have been keeping me up to date. Oh, it's clean and I have no complaints.

I think it's a great place but my loved one doesn't like the food most of the time.
