Comments very poor experience. Understaffed with poor attitude and not very personable or professional. I am a nurse and I actually got into strong discussions with the staff. I would not recommend it.

They keep raising the prices on us! They need to have better quality meals for the residents. It would also be helpful if they had regular meeting with the families.

Very friendly staff members and flexible housing arrangements. I think they could improve by having more companionship.

I am very happy with Fountains at Mill Cove. I was in a hurry for a placement for my mom and [name removed] helped schedule interviews and places to visit. Stacy from Fountains has been wonderful. Thank you so much

In April my father moved to The Fountains at Mill Cove due to recent medical issues. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming to him and he had nothing but positive things to say about the staff he interacted with on a regular basis. He has recently moved again but to be closer to family that he missed. I can say that while he was there he received very good care and attention. The facility itself is one of the older ones that I had toured but offered the most care, room and activities for his budget. The staff made it a really great option for him.

It is okay. Clean. They do their best with it being so hard to get employees to stay. Food could be better. I would definitely recommend the Fountains. Great price and the caretakers are really sweet

My grandma moved into the Assisted living side at the Fountains at Mill Cove in December 2023. In the beginning everyone was nice, helpful and seemed to care. My grandma was under hospice care from the beginning. In May of 2024 her health started declining. On several occasions when we looked for a nurse it would take over 30 minutes to find someone. The staff at the Fountains at Mill Cove did not communicate well with Hospice. On several occasions I would be at the facility all day and you would only see the aid who dropped food off. Communication with staff is terrible they do not return phone calls or emails. No one can tell you who is over the Fountains at Mill Cove or give a number to contact that since the manager doesn’t respond to you. My grandma was in a shared apartment. One day the toilet was not working, the roommate told someone. I told 5 people before someone came to repair the toilet. My opinion is they treat assisted living residents like independent residents.

The Fountains is an "established" community and is making great strides in aesthetics and overall facilities upkeep. As they were just recently (2022 or 2023?) purchased by Premier, the new management has done a great job of "fixing up the place." Institutional food is what it is. And I get needing to keep it bland as many don't like spicy or have dietary restrictions (no or low sodium, etc.) but maybe offer a little Mrs. Dash on the table. They do seem to mix it up a bit with the menus and Mom is pretty satisfied overall.

We've had a few struggles with care in the beginning and still with paperwork being submitted in a timely manner for insurance purposes. The exterior of the facility is well past due for maintenance, repairs, exterior cleaning, gutter clean out(there's a small 3ft tree growing from one gutter) and a roof cleaning. Lots of mold and mildew growing that is unhealthy for the residents and staff. The ponds could use a good sprucing up as well to remove all the pond scum and repair the fountains(you'd think as part of the facility name, that'd be on a priory list somewhere). It'd be lovely if they could focus on those things. Not only from a health standpoint but I'm sure the residents would appreciate having nice and clean exterior grounds and increase their mental and spiritual wellbeing. The inside is also dated and could use new hard surface flooring through and eliminate any carpet that can hold onto to germs and odors. Overall, my aunt is content there and seems to be doing well.

Mostly people are kind, some happy & some not so happy. A lot of that depends on the individual. My mom has had her struggles but most of that is her attitude at times. The fountains is a large facility & most of the staff is good, but some not so good. We chose the facility because it fit her budget & proximity to family. I would recommend with some caveats.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Fountains at Mill Cove and it was a great experience. I like that there were no hidden fees, the facility offered multiple care options, and the direct care staff were great. My loved one didn't like the food, but was incredibly picky. My loved one did not participate in the activities, but I was pleased with the offerings. I would recommend The Fountains at Mill Cove to others.

Staff is kind and allows older people to live with assistance but maintains their dignity. For the cost, it is by far the largest living space compared to other locations we looked into. There is a lovely screened in porch and an area where there can be a garden behind it. Sitting in a rocking chair outside in private space.

When he gets his care it is good but it seems like a revolving door there. I hear the only good meal is breakfast. We cannot comment on the activities because he does not do any of the activities. The value for cost is good compared to other places and the rooms are big. Would we recommend this community to others? It would depend on their health. If they were mobile and could get around by themselves. I would say yes.

The Fountains at Mill Cove are excelling in all categories. The food is, of course, each persons taste but the chefs meet with tenants each Tuesday to discuss likes and dislikes and are open to all suggestions. The move in process is extremely easy and the staff are very welcoming. My biggest issue is the rumors that get started and fly around the facility, but staff are good about correcting. Mom was skeptical about moving there, but met people really quick and made a lot of friends which is why she went there. She also is teaching a crochet class and the ladies love it. Overall, we are so happy.

I like that my Dad is in a safe place and they check in on him and care for him relatively well. I guess the food options is what he complains most about.

Staff are pretty good. There's good days and bad days. Housekeeping is good. The weekend shift is limited, wish they had a little more help. They do communicate with me when there's any issues with my mom. The meals are okay. I would recommend the facility, but stopping by is a good idea and be kind and make friends with the staff. I think that's good advice, no matter the facility.
