We were really happy when we first moved him to the facility as things were stable and care was great. However, there has been a lot of staffing issues which has absolutely affected his care and service. It is promoted as a Montessori facility with activities being promoted but they are practically non-existent. We are thankful for his care.

My husband w/FTD moved to Auberge at Bee Cave. The staff is loving,hard-working; listens with a willingness to help. Meals are delicious & staff seemed organized when feeding & giving meds to residents. First full day I visited my husband. I located him in activities room, in wheelchair w/his head hanging low. He was unresponsive. A staff member approached me & advised he had been in this state for a long time. Nurse was called & he was rushed to hospital for a 2-day stay. My Husband was given wrong medication that was discontinued. Auberge advised not their fault but pharmacy's fault. Sent back to Auberge and perished several days later. Heartbroken! I paid over [fee removed] for first month & advised will receive refund of some kind. Contract signed states an additional 2-weeks will be charged when resident dies. My refund will be less than [fee removed] which means I'm paying over [fee removed]for a 1-week stay minus the 2 days in hospital. Understand IF lengthy stay but he was there for 7 days! Unhappy!!

Outstanding service all around.. Very professional.. Where should I start? From the very first day, I was impressed. A welcome basket was presented to make everyone feel welcome. The caregivers, medical technicians and the nurses are top notch ...and I have no complaints. The ambiance of the facility is warm and professional...and also fun. Finding the Auberge at Bee Caves has been a real Blessing for our family.. and I truly appreciate how kind they are to my husband.

July 2, 2024Thank you Rhoni, for taking time to write a review. We strive to provide excellent care to all our residents. We will share your kind words with our staff.
My loved one passed away a day after moving in. I can tell you that the administration was friendly and helpful, especially after my wife's death. My experience with the care staff was limited. Some seemed very caring and friendly, others more distant and interested only in the TV. But hard to tell from just a couple of days. I do wish my wife's room had had a working call button, though it might not have made a difference.

June 13, 2024Hi Harvey, we’d love to know how we can do better. Feel free to reach out to our support team at residentexperience@frontiermgmt.com.
My wife and I have been residents of the Auberge for a year. I decided to write another review. I was very frustrated with the Assisted living community when I found the Auberge. I had been turned down by 7 places because I refused to live in regular Assisted Living, and have my wife of 50 years live in Memory Care. When I saw their sign: The Auberge A total Memory care unit, I reasoned that if the total unit was Memory Care, they couldn’t relegate me to assisted living. I was correct. The Executive Director said I would have to adapt to a totally different environment. I acknowledged. We were accepted. The staff is superb. The care givers here all know what to do, how to do it, and have a proper attitude about the residents. As a team, they know the residents are their number 1 priority. If a resident needs help and their assigned caregiver is busy with another resident someone else takes over. There is no “that is not my assignment" that I have seen in 2 rehab units.

February 13, 2024Hi Jim! We're so happy to hear about your positive experience at The Auberge at Bee Cave. Thank you for the review!
1. It was fine, always considerate 2. Very clean 3. Very friendly 4. Very caring staff 5. Terrible, once in a while it was okay? 6. Mom never participated 7. All nursing homes are very expensive! Go see your loved one often, get to know the staff well! They are seriously interested in knowing the little things about your loved one! It matters...mom was in a different facility in the beginning of this journey and the staff was nothing like Auberges staff!

January 18, 2024Hi! We're so happy to hear about your positive experience at The Auberge at Bee Cave. Thank you for the review!
Their SPARK program is awesome. Employees are incredibly compassionate towards residents. Like that there is a consistent schedule and lots of activities. My only complaint is that the evening/nights and weekends tend to be under staffed. Have been in the common area several times where there will be a lot of residents and zero employees. Also, nothing against "A Place for Mom" because our rep Melissa has been amazing but I found out about them from y'all. There's a real problem up there and I'm hopeful that y'all are careful about referring Auberge to others until they can get better management. It's costly to move residents from one place to the other due to negligence and it's also extremely hard on the memory care community.

June 19, 2023Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review for The Auberge at Bee Cave. Our staff strives to foster a positive community experience for all our residents, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks Karen.
When we moved my elderly mother who has advanced Alzheimer's Disease into this facility, we were given many promises that she would be carefully watched as she adapted to the new living situation. Imagine my surprise when I went to visit, and no one knew where she was. I found her roaming an empty hall, completely lost, and moving away from her room, without the walker she must have to avoid falling, with no staff in sight. She was trying to grip a shelf along the side of the hall that is not a proper railing for gripping. My recommendation at this or any memory care facility is to do unannounced visits at odd hours.

June 1, 2023Hello there, We are sorry you feel that way. We pride ourselves on providing high quality care and feedback like this helps us improve. We would like to learn more about your concerns. The Auberge has a terrific team taking care of us, the residents. This morning while I was getting ready to go to breakfast which starts at 0800, I was getting annoyed because no one had com to get my wife ready. At 0750, I went to the dining room and told the senior CNA present that the assigned aid had not yet come. Everything looked normal. Within 2 minutes, an aid, not the one assigned, arrived and helped me get my wife ready. At 0810, I realized something unusual was happening. The care giving staff was having an all hands meeting. A couple of minutes later, they broke up and the CNAs disappeared. The Chef and dishwasher started serving breakfast. Soon missing residents and CNAs started showing up. This is a one of the reasons I love living here. The entire staff cares about us, the residents. Without having senior manager present yet, the staff figured out the problem and immediately corrected the situation so none of the residents were adversely affected. Thank You

My loved one is a resident at The Auberge at Bee Cave. It's a beautiful place. All of the caregivers are really nice. The gem of this facility is the Director [name removed], who will do anything to help.

April 28, 2023Thanks for the great review! We are so happy to hear our team at The Auberge at Bee Cave has provided such attentive care, and your review is greatly appreciated.
The staff is very personable and really knows the residents. The management team makes it a priority to know all the residents closely. They new my moms likes and dislikes accurately. I always felt like I could talk with whomever I needed to without delay. Super friendly staff. My mom was as happy as she could be while staying there. I always felt she was well cared for, allowed to maintain her independence and was safe. Auberge has a wonderful open layout that allows for residents to roam inside and outside freely and safely. My mom was an avid walker and the Auberge provided the space she needed for that daily activity.

April 18, 2023Hi Laura! We're so happy to hear about your positive experience at The Auberge at Bee Cave. Thank you for the review!
Whoever write the Anonymous review on [date removed] must be from another planet. We toured the facility today and were very impressed by its spaciousness and cleanliness. It is a 100 percent memory care facility. All rooms have private baths. It has a wonderfully large interior courtyard…with a putting green no less. Wide, bright hallways. Each room has a display case in the hallway by the door to aid residents to find their own room and to show off treasured memories. They use the SPARK methodology, based on the Montessori philosophy, to care for the residents and give them a purpose. Yes, it is expensive but it appears to be top quality.

We knew right away when we walked in this was not going to be the right fit. The facility itself needed a lot of updating - it did not seem well kept. In memory care they only had shared rooms that were dark and dingy and the bathroom was down the hallway.
The staff at this facility care extremely about your loved ones. They do their best every day to provide the services needed and exceptional care to their residents. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place for their family members.
