[name removed], the Activity Director, will come in my loved ones room and watch a tv show with him or just talk to him because my loved one refuses to go to any activities. Do not consider the Addison of Indian trail for anyone you love. The worst community run by the worst people. See the current reviews on the Addison of Indian trails website and move on. This isn’t a for anyone who needs any kind of care or compassion. Horrible.

I was told the price plus "care" starting at [amount removed] going up. They had a hard time communicating with the previous facility but I was assured that because he is so independent that it would probably be low. Then on the day we were moving him I was told it would be close to the top of the price range. There is lack of communication and I have been unable to get a list of who's who and email addresses. It's been very frustrating.

They've said for over a year they are to have renovation but hasn't happened yet carpet is bad. They were without an activities director for a while. They aren't providing transportation. It very and quiet facility. Residents tend to keep to themselves. Overall has a nice feel.

Please spare your loved ones from this horrific place. We had many experiences of dangerous practices and unprofessionalism from [names removed]. These individuals engage in risky practices that ultimately put the residents in grave danger. These practices include inadequate medical documentation leading to misdiagnosis, confusing patients, overmedicating patients, anot ensuring emergency systems are in order, and this is just to name a few. Repeatedly throughout our time with Addison of Indian Trail, we have tried to communicate with [names removed] by email concerning various issues. [name removed] has refused to communicate in writing or in any documented way about my grandmother’s care. [name removed] and [name removed] have been difficult to engage, requiring regular follow-ups and accountability in order to act in my grandmother’s best interest. Until now, [name removed] has not even replied to my mother about the death of my grandmother.

Everyone there is very friendly and patient. They go out of their way to make everything as easy as possible. They all work together to try to make every resident feel special and cared for. The move in was easy and went well. I would recommend The Addison to others.

We had tour of facility and when we arrived in the front it was beautiful. As we went inside the facility the carpet was so disguising and very dirt, every where we walk it was nasty. We seen the dining room area it was set up nicely and look clean. As we went into another area it was call the Memory Care. Some of the residents would approach you, I guess that is normal for that area. We're seen several bedroom suite and they were nice and clean and we met some of employees they were polite and friendly. But the carpet in that area was filty and dirty as well. We believe if they would clean the carpet and present it like the outside look, then we believe they would get more residents there and the pictures on the profile wouldn't be a LIE, BECAUSE THE PLACE DOESN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THOSE PICTURES WE SEEN!

Our opinion varies from one interaction to the next. Overall we're pretty happy with the activities and the facility itself. [name removed] says the food is good, but since only residents are allowed in the dining room, we've never seen or tasted it firsthand. Sometimes it's hard to get someone to answer the phone, sometimes even during business hours. They seem to either have a lot of turnover with the caregivers or they may be using a temp agency. It just seems like they don't run a very tight ship. [name removed] says she really likes it there and when we visit she seems happy...and that's the most important thing.

Our family had an in person tour and everyone we met with was super nice. However due to covid we were not able to see the entire community but we completely understood that.
Management of this facility seems clueless as what one another are doing, calls go unanswered and if you ask for the ED to call you over a simple problem or a serious problem she doesn’t return phone calls. Almost the entire staff is from a temp as the majority of employees have left the job beginning with the arrival of the Executive Director around 9 months ago.. This place looks really nice from the outside looking in until you walk through the door to see this chaotically run mess. Unbelievable overpriced, certainly don’t get what you are paying for. Would not recommend to anyone for any reason.

We toured this community and the tour was ok. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I just was not impressed with the community
The following 2 reviews could have been written by me as we’ve had similar experiences. Things look good up front but once you’re there you find things aren’t what they promised. Safety issues abound, no communication, issues ignored, phone and emails go unanswered even up the management chain. Facility has not had a state inspection since 2018. Wish we would have known that before move in. Should have done more research on staff, or lack thereof. Temps running the place, does not serve memory care residents at all.

The community looks good at the beginning, but what you see there is not what your get. The talk was good but the actions were not. The management staff turnover has been really bad we have been there for 5 months and only 2 managers remain out of 6. They are also using a temp. agency to help with staff turnover. I would not recommend the community to others.

There is a new memory care coordinator which is great, however the executive director just can't seem to keep anything straight. They have over charged our family for two months in a row now, and we have been trying for a month now to get a hold of the nursing director by phone and email and we never hear back. Within a month of our loved one moving in, they did some blood work with out our permission even after our loved one had blood work done. They also put our loved one on two different anxiety medication without authorization from us. Our loved one has also been wearing clothes that to not belong to them.

Mom is not happy that they have not followed through on the activities they said they offered. She also thinks they do not have the proper staffing to care for some of the residents that require more care needs. She likes her room. The community is very clean and well maintained. The staff are quick to respond when mom needs something. This community is close to family.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. The tour went well overall. Everyone was kind, and polite to my family, and I. Everything looked good from what we saw, they do a good job with the cleanliness. I did not have any problems with my tour of this community.

My husband had a good stay at this community. The staff were friendly and we had good communication. He liked the food, however they do not offer special diets. They offer daily activities. The community is neat and clean inside and out. We would use this community again for a respite stay.

I had taken a tour of this community for my mother and I thought they have a very well maintained facility with lots of friendly staff members. I also wanted my mother to have her own privacy of a room even if she had to share a bathroom but they did not have that available. I ended up finding exactly what we wanted for her in another place for the same price they had there shared rooms for.
