Brookdale Carriage Club Providence

Moving our parents in has been a very pleasant experience. We were able to visit anytime we wanted prior to moving in and once we chose an apartment they updated everything in that apartment. They are making improvements on the dining options which is much anticipated. The facilities are very nice and all of the common areas are decorated very nicely! The staff has all been wonderful and so kind. We feel that our parents are safe and valued as part of the community!

Overall happy with the apartment. Food is okay but not spectacular. Staff is helpful, great PT and OT staff. Maintenance is slow to react and that has disappointed my folks. Sales and marketing staff was great to work with and the finance staff also has been very helpful.

Biggest problem is the food, it's horrible. Blamed on corporate - "this is what we get to cook, this is how we have to fix it." Some outside doors are extremely heavy to open, some open automatically. Outside lighting to bad at nighttime.

The quality of care is a 2 because we have asked and been told "yes" to them replacing a "fogged" up glass panel in the sliding door to the balcony numerous times. They say it's being "on order" but it's been almost 3 years. When we have called the manager he has yet to call us back.

The facility and staff overall have been very accommodating. I think the sizes of the apartments are fine and the amenities suit the needs of the residents. We are very appreciative of your organization because if not for A Place For Mom we would not have known about Brookdale Carriage Club.

My Dad and myself have been happy with Brookdale Carriage Club. I really like the feel the place has for independent living and feels less like a senior citizen “home” and more like an apartment complex for independent living. My Dad has enjoyed the food and all the ammenities on the grounds. I would have given 5 stars but the move in process and welcoming was not as good as the service and attention to get us into the complex. Also love the fact that each of the apartment has its own washer/dryer and the cleaning service that is offered. Most importantly, there is assisted living options and availability, but most importantly it can be added per hour vs most places where it has to be outsourced for 8 hours or more.

We chose Brookdale Carriage Club because it has varying levels of care from independent to dementia care, so we were sure we would find all the needs of my parents met.Our experience has been great! We moved my parents in after my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. The community was welcoming, sweet, helpful, and kind. Everyone there is service-oriented and friendly. My father has enjoyed it and has found a soothing routine in life now. We are thankful for Brookdale!

Don't pick this facility for skilled nursing care! Independent and assisted living are lovely and lively; skilled nursing facility is dark, drab and awful. I would never recommend them. We are moving our loved one out.

Brookdale does an excellent job at engaging residents and grouping them ability wise. They have kept my loved one very engaged and doing as much as he can. Open communication with the staff has been key to our positive experience

Communication was a little compartmentalized. Get to know each relevant person because overall communication between departments isn't great. The move in process was easy. My mom checked in directly after her flight. The staff is fabulous. The same nurses are there week to week. I haven't tried the food, but I would highly recommend this facility to others.

My uncle has adjusted very well there amidst a lot of changes. They've worked to help him adjust and made him feel like he'd be missed when he moved from skilled nursing to assisted living. Staff go above and beyond to take care needs. Only area that could use work sometimes is communication.

So far a nice place. Nice room sizes. Nice amenities and helpful people. . New appliances. Lots of greenery. Plank floors. Lots of closet space. Balcony. Walking trails. Outdoor pool. Etc

My family and loved one had a good experience with Brookdale Carriage Club. The staff are amazing. They are always willing to help the family and residents. Everyone from staff to the residents are friendly. The food is hit or miss, but they are trying to improve. Overall, we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with the community. The staff are kind, friendly, and caring. We do wish that there would be a Sunday evening meal for the residents that can't really cook for themselves. However, we understand this has to do with staffing shortages to provide enough staffing in the dining room. Other than this, everything has been amazing. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

I think Brookdale is great. It's clean. It's laid out very well and is very comfortable for the residents and their visitors. The staff are great. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. It's a great facility, and we've been very pleased.

Very friendly, best facility in Charlotte. I was just somewhat disappointed about the raise in price, although I do understand inflation . I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Carriage Club Providence.

They were compassionate towards the patients and family. They had strong administration. The CNA's did a good job, keeping my loved one clean/dressed. I appreacite the level of professionalism, and the staff was well trained. The physical therapists helped as much as they can.

The place shows wear, everything is old and worn out, landscaping and outdoor lighting is awful. It makes me think there are money problems. They have good activities for the residents. Lots of helpful employees. My loved one feels safe. That's important.
