Brookdale was very helpful in navigating our search. Great staff and great care.

I think the dining situation is the biggest complaint. They closed the dining room down and they have never really explained why. They are delivering the food to their rooms and they do not have any variety. Before they closed the dining room down they would run out of things frequently. Due to this, I do not think that they are not getting their value for their money right now.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job taking care of my loved one and the food and activities are great also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience. My loved one is so happy and has really enjoyed Brookdale.

Carriage Club checks all the boxes and then some. The residents are all so kind, engaged, and friendly. The staff, including managers, are always quick to provide assistance, or just sit and talk. It is clear that the staff (at least everyone we have encountered) is there for the right reason - to ensure the residents are cared for well. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. My loved one is so happy, and is thriving since moving to Carriage Club. Best decision we ever made!!

having been at carriage club providence for years now, we have seen the overall quality of management, services, the facility, and especially the food go so far down that we would move if it were not so problematic and costly. We do not expect any improvement as long as the current manager, who hides in her distant office in order not to mingle with the residents, is till in charge. They bring in new prospective residents but never let them mix with current residents, the majority of whom know what is going on and have many complaints.

[name removed] did a great job giving us a tour! She was pleasant, and very patient with my mom and her questions. She was upbeat, and made senior living less scary for mom. We appreciate all the time she took with us!

The staff members are terrific, it is a beautiful community and very accessible. It has very good food our loved one is happy with it. She has an apartment that is close to the clubhouse with a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of outside walking areas. We would recommend this community.

We chose Brookdale Carriage Club Providence because it looked like a very nice place to live in compared to others we saw. It is located in a beautiful part of town surrounded by trees and two ponds. They have a walking trail and benches so if you want to go outside it is beautiful scenery. The room sizes here are large and spacious. They have independent living, healthcare, memory care, and assisted living. The food is very very good. They have a chef that prepares all meals and they have a very large dining room. Overall, we have been pleased with this facility. They seemed to have a lot of activities for the residents to participate in as well. I would recommend.

My parents enjoyed the community of Brookdale Carriage Club. Their apartment was spacious and nice. Some of the services were slow and not timely. I would recommend this community for people who do not need certified nursing services. If you are truly independent great, if you need help, then I would not recommend.

[Name removed] the activities coordinator is wonderful if it was not for her I would not be as happy as I am at Brookdale Carriage Club. She is always prompt about calling me back, she lets my mom talk to me on her cellphone and help her Facetime with me. During the Covid-19 crisis the salon is closed she has been washing my mom's hair for her. [Name removed] sent a letter to the families asking them to send letters and photos so she could create a box for each resident that she can go through with them so they do not feel so isolated and alone during this time. The LPN that gives the meds is very personable. The communication with the administration has not been as prompt or clear. They sent us a letter about a missing payment that was actually an error on their part. I looked at 6 places while my mom was in the hospital, narrowed it down to two places and had to make a very quick decision.

Terrific, warm and welcoming. Loved the rooms and people. [Name removed] was very genuine and really listened to my uncle’s story and concern. She really was lovely in every way. Met some other residents who shared great feedback and had a nice lunch in the dining room. The server was young and very sweet and caring.

Following a mild stroke, my mother relocated from Western NY to Charlotte to be closer to family. We looked at a number of Independent living options around the South Charlotte area. Brookdale Carriage Club stood out for many reasons. The campus is private, beautiful, and has many amenities. The apartments are well laid out and updated. The fact that Carriage club offers assisted living, health care and long term care for future transition was a huge benefit as well! For someone who lived in one town her entire life and left a house after 40 years, this change was overwhelming. The staff at Carriage Club was welcoming, helpful and minimized the challenges of this major transition. The residents were also very welcoming and supportive. My mother was surprised at how much she did not miss her house, and how many friends she made in such a short period of time. We highly recommend this community as aging family members look at options for additional care.
