It's a part of the Methodist system and my mother is Methodist, but it was a little fish, big sea here, I don't think she would have had the personalized attention or opportunity to put the Alzheimers thing behind her. It's a much older facility and so forth, even though they've added on and updated. I will say one of the issues I like a lot better here is their Alzheimer's ward where they required lock down is all small communities all together in an interior space which can't be breeched. So the accessibility of Alzheimer's patients being able to come and go without a hall restriction, I love that, but I will say the facility being older-it was maintained well- but I also understand in an Alzhimer's situation, you have so many factors that creates conditions beyond what you would normally experience otherwise and it being older, it was harder to maintain.

A Place for Mom has scored Aldersgate 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
